I just got done with the dishes. Earlier I had finished getting funeral arrangements made, helped get dinner ready to grill and steam mopped the entire first floor area, which is mostly marble/tile. I have a shark steam mop so it goes faster vs using a traditional mop. I just wish the tank was bigger.

I'm now relaxing in my chair before I go take a bath.

It's 4pm and I'm still in bed, relaxing with the fan on. This feels so damn good. I haven't been able to sleep in like this for weeks. It's always going to bed at 3-4am and waking up at 7am for work. I almost always have plans on my days off too so that would involve me getting up around 9-10am. But today I have nothing planned, just be lazy. So I went to bed about 6am and got up about 1pm. There's no feeling like waking up on your own time instead of by an alarm. I envy unemployed people sometimes.

i'm sitting here looking outside at the rain.....again. it's so dark outside it looks like it's going into night instead of almost 8:00.

we had almost 2 solid weeks of rain, then a little over 3 days of sun, now back to rain the past 2 days. and it's supposed to rain again tomorrow.

i've had enough rain, dammit.

Was a rough week so blew off some steam after getting back from the movies last night. Was up until 3AM blowing off said steam after some snuck-in movie wine and then brews back at the crib. I am feeling it today, more sleep deprivation than hangover-y but ugh.

Coffee, morning smoke, staring daggers of the spite at the backyard because I've been too lazy this week to do any proper yard work. The weeds and undergrowth near the center tree are laughing at me. Well, we'll see who's laughing when I finish this coffee. Game on nature.

Drinking some coffee and getting ready to head out to look at a town house, and an actual HOUSE (a lakeside rent-to-own property)... Some real potential there though I'm not really in the market for a house anymore since I'm living ~300 miles from my partner, but I figure if it ends up being a decent deal what the heck she'll need a "vacation" home right? and best of all it's only 20 miles from my workplace and is located in a "A-rated school district" whatever that truly means.

Nah I know, but I had food before and after and slugged 4 pre-emptive ibuprofen at some point so it's more tiredness than a hangover. That being said, I might crack a beer here soon since it's technically almost a holiday weekend, right?
