i really need to go through mine and redo all the wiring. right now, it looks like a big bowl of spaghetti noodles behind my cabinet, and i wanna redo them to make them neat and tidy. what i really need to do is make my own custom-length cables so i don't have to shop around for cables/cords that might be the right length.
you can't see the mess unless you move some things and look back there, but i know it's a mess and it bugs me.

Sounds like fun but man, I can relate. The older I get, the more these hangovers are harder and harder to recover from. I'm wondering at what point I'm gonna say enough is enough and stop altogether.

It happened to me in a gradual way.
I used to party more than I should've and as I got middle aged, the desire or want, faded away. There's been times when I'm all gung ho to Let 'er Rip, but then only have a couple and go to bed. That is quite different than how I used to be. There's been no effort to me slowing down, it just happened.
