yep.

the real stuff starts next week, though. next week and the week after are our busiest week of the year, every year. but we can get plenty of hours so hopefully my paychecks will be better than they have been lately. they can hardly get any worse, lol.

Just caught the end of a Bonanza episode. I think the main guy from The Waltons was a guest star. I've never seen The Waltons but I thought I recognized the guy from that show. I think in this Bonanza episode, he was playing a Union officer who was losing his faith in the world. I was kind of drawn to the emotion he was displaying. I don't know if that actor was considered a good one in his time. The end credits song mentioned Blood Brothers. From Googling, I think the episode was called The Weary Willies. Ok, if anyone is actually reading this, you might know that the actor's name is Richard Thomas. I'll check his wiki page out later.

Off to Best Buy to pick up a store order for Kong: Skull Island in 4K, the last of the Black Friday purchases.

yep, john-boy walton. him, along with the dad, ralph waite, were the 2 main characters on that show (in my opinion, anyway).

he also guest-starred on numerous other tv shows through the years.

as well, ralph waite played gibbs' father on ncis.

Same, been FB free and social media free for that matter for over 5 years now. It legit feels like I've been cleansed of most of my toxins. Terrible thing that social media.

Converting VHS tapes over to DVD. One little show at a time. Some 5 minute clips, some up to 2 hrs. All music related. All tedious. It's all great stuff though, and I want to preserve it. Been doing this project off and on for about 3 months. Probably at this pace, about 1 year to go.

Happened to me too but I got about 6.5 hours of sleep so I hope coffee will be enough. Had gotten about 31 hours of sleep the last four nights so hopefully it won't be too bad. Still wondering why my sister keeps measuring herself against me. I train 5 days a week and I've been faster than her from day 1 of running. Oh well, at least it means she's motivated, so that's something. Hoping to hear good news from financial aid today, looks like they offered $1500 in Pell last year. Gonna need more than that this year, especially since I have about a $500 course delivery fee. Guessing I'll need to ask for a student loan, in which case I need to look into that thing where student loans are forgiven if you promise to work for CYFD in-state for 2 years after graduation.
