Waiting for my lazy bum of a brother to come over to help me move some furniture over to the new place. Only got a few more trips left to empty our storage unit so hopefully we won't have to pay rent on it in 2018 - that extra $425 a month will be such a huge relief right about now.

Thanks. The hardest part is quarantining her from my fiancee since her immune system is crap due to the pregnancy.

we had 3 storage units....at one time. total it was probably around that much a month. and it was SO good to be able to get rid of ALL of them.

i've been off since.....let's see.....

i technically haven't worked since the 18th. i went in wednesday the 27th but was there less than an hour since i got sick and was like that for 2 damn days. and i don't have to work again until the 3rd.

so yeah, been off for a bit and still a few days to go.

paycheck is gonna suuuuuuuuck.

Are there no 40 hour work weeks in your contract?

This final work break of the year is a bit weird, I may cut it shorter than usual if the program manager doesn't stop popping in and out every 5 minutes. Really makes me wonder what he's up to. At least there's only about another 100 minutes and then I go home till 2018.

contract? ain't no contracts here.

and as far as 40 hours goes, that's only for full time; which i'm not. you have to apply for that and they only have openings every so often.

I don't think I'm under a formal contract either but it's understood I work 8-5 M-F 40 hours a week. Something I'm going to discuss with HR during my complaint appointment next week. Will definitely be an issue when I have to start taking classes I have to attend in person as part of my LMFT training.
