no work yesterday or today for me due to the "snow".

granted, we didn't get as much at my house as fell near where i work. and with the temps last night, the roads were pretty icy. so i'm glad i didn't have to try and make that drive. there are too many bridges between my house and work.

I just read this whole weird sociological article about why "we shouldn't feel bad to root for Reign" in the new Supergirl series.

I don't understand sentiments like this. It's a work of fiction. It doesn't say anything about you as a person. Reign is a tall, beautiful "anti-supergirl", world killer with long dark hair and even longer legs and black lipstick. What is NOT to root for??

I root for Reign for the same reason I rooted for the Baroness and Veronica Lodge when I was a kid. Reign is hot and naughty and bad girls need love too!

Watching The Waltons on TV and watching my daughter do her homework about 20 feet away. Really hoping she doesn't ask me for help because I'm not sure if I could provide it. I feel like an idiot, she's in the sixth grade and learning shit I didn't "learn" until I was in high school! And I quoted that because I was a dumb slacker back then and don't remember a damn thing.

Welp read more of my textbook on social work, almost done with chapter 1. Gotta say not the most riveting material so far. The fact I haven't been a student since 2014 is probably a factor. Hopefully my journalism textbook will be more exciting. Time to shower!
