I've been.. thinking. My mind in particular never shuts off.

But my wife and I had been talking yesterday, and I was telling her who there are several things I would have done differently than the route I had chosen.

I went to high school, graduated, went to a community college for 2.5 years, took a break, and then went back to a university for my Bachelor's (and then later, masters).

If I could go back, I'd do it all differently. I would have gone to the local vocational school, learn some trades and gain college credits in the process. Then I would have reconsidered the military and enlist. Then go back and continue learning trades, but also pursue business (the one thing I did do). (And it'd be a huge savings).

I also think I would have done a different major. I went into Finance, which has a lot of perks doing so. But I think, and not for all, but for a lot of people, a good major would actually be a double major between Accounting and Economics. Or even Finance and Economics.

I've been successful so far career-wise, and I have a great job, and I'm not looking at all right now to jump any ships. But I'm also a guy that needs to stay busy, stay moving, and do different things. And I've always loved working with my hands. Carpentry, wiring, etc. So I may look into some adult education to pick up some trades. And this will help as I continue my journey to having a business empire of my own. Part of that is buying houses, and fixing/updating them, and selling and/or renting them out. Another trade I'd like to learn is automotive repair.

Trades are great!
I have friends who are Tradesmen and they are very happy with their choices.

When I figure it out, I certainly will. I dunno, I've just been out of sorts since the holidays, kinda like I'm sleep walking through some aspects of my life and then other aspects, I'm right on top of, I just can't figure it out.
