my cousin, whose funeral was today, was in the cia. and no one in my family knew about it. well, maybe his wife. but the pastor at the funeral was talking about it, and everyone was in shock.

he said something like, "Well, i guess the files are declassified by now. but if you see a picture of him when he's wearing a hawaiian shirt, he was in cuba at the time.

i knew he was in the military, but i never knew he was in the cia and did some classified work.

Wife and son finally went upstairs. Waiting on the noise to die down before I go upstairs. Debating on if I'm going to watch Life of Pi or an episode of a show

Outside of my boy driving me insane it hasn't been a bad day. I'm just not feeling it when I've thought about watching something the past couple of nights. Been mainly sitting around having a drink and listening to tunes. Which isn't too bad. I think, like my wife, the uncertainty of things is starting to get to me. Going out to the coast on Sunday so we can take her mom to an appointment on Monday and procedure on Tuesday. Wife took the days off. So that will help. Might suggest taking her car this time since we need to leave a vehicle out there and hers gets better gas mileage. Hoping I can sleep in a bit tomorrow. Night all.

Tried and failed to pay off my phone lease this morning, guess I have to wait till my next bill. Making lunch before I head to Jiffy Lube for an oil change, going to take my mass comm textbook with me and study while they change the oil. One of my Minnesota cousins is coming down to visit for about a week, definitely need to tell him about running Minneapolis while he's here.

Like Rage said, sorry for your loss, but that is a cool story. I wonder if any more details about his time with the CIA will come out?

With two bars within reasonable walking distance from our apartment I'm debating on venturing out for a drink or three...or save a few bucks and just pop a top here and play Call of Duty online.

I was put on Quartermaster duty myself and sent out on supplies. She gave me a day off last weekend and I didn't know what to do with myself. My vote is have a beer, load up a game and enjoy the silence. I'm about to make a cup of coffee and go upstairs to watch a movie. Enjoy your weekend gang.
