I do not understand why these Guns cannot be made available to all/any U.S. Gun Shops for sale to the General Public.

I think it would be easier just to pay the price to buy one that is already in circulation.
Or wait 2 or 3 more years knowing ( hoping ) that many may than find their way into the public markets from people
that do get them through this program.

exactly! i'll just stick with my springfield 1911 and be satisfied.

one day i'm hoping to be able to pick up one of the Garands. they're MUCH easier to acquire.
