shaking my head at this video i just watched...

it was about some gadgets that i NEED to see.

one of them was a folding knife. they used it to peel and cut an apple, open a can of "something", cut some cordage and rope, cut a piece of paper, cut a piece of cardboard, etc.

just wondering how that's a gadget i NEEDed to see. and how that particular knife is any different than the literally THOUSANDS of other types of folding knives out there that do the exact. same. things.....

but they said it was an elegant design, so i guess that makes it special.

Drinking some coffee and (re)watching Father Figures with the Lady since she fell asleep to it last night. Looks like today will be a lazy movie day, taking the kid to see Ready Player One later since we've been crazy busy all week

edit: Okay so I guess the kid had prior plans with my fiancee today unknown to me, so our "movie date" has been postponed to Tuesday after work/school. Guess I'm just going to do some grocery shopping and just chill out the rest of the day

If you haven't already, check out the American version, Let Me In. I enjoyed it more than LTROI, & dare I say, it's the better film. It's really well done & isn't just an exact remake, it's more of an alternate version of the novel & it's the version that I prefer.
