Winding down the night with another cocktail. Debating on if I'm going to have one of my sundae's from Dairy Queen or just go to bed once the washer goes off and I put the load into the dryer All in all, had a good day with the boy. Was able to work around him while he played his 360 and I packed things away. Ended up repacking some earlier packs searching for something I wonder if I packed up already? I'll find out tomorrow. Too drunk and tired tonight.

Just had breakfast (ham & jack cheese omelette with a side of home fries), now drinking some and watching some SVU while I decide on what to do today. Girls didn't get home til after 3AM last night, apparently they went to the mall then to a cosmic bowling party ~40 mile away, so I don't see them getting up anytime soon. Thinking about how much of a mess my life has become recently.

Working on a 40 page 'Hospitality Corporation Update' paper for my marketing class. It's a real pain in the ass because it's due in five days and none of my group members are communicating properly with me.

I have a big project due in journalism soon. Everyone was talking a bit before but I've done pretty much all the work. I may finish it by myself tomorrow if no one else starts pitching in. Not sure why the professor allows this. I would slap them all with points deductions to teach them a lesson.

Well if she is, she should do something. She should be checking the projects regularly since it's an online class and the due date is Tuesday at midnight. We all picked the topic to cover (kinda, they discussed it and never confirmed) so I started doing the work yesterday and a bit more today. The rest of the group might not like that but that's too bad. Group work means you pitch in and don't wait till the last minute to start helping.

Are you using Blackboard? She may not be aware and assuming people are working offline at the moment or she may be seeing how people handle the situation and will deduct points based on observed participation. When I had online courses and worked on group projects the team, at times, would communicate via email and not always post in the forum. Maybe a simply discussion with the professor would help. Who's the group leader?

Same happening with me. I feel as though it's kind of all our fault as we were assigned a company back in February which should have been the time to start the project. Not wait until the week before it's due.

It's broken up into six sections, so one person can work on a single section. I took responsibility of introduction and conclusion. However, now realizing to be a mistake as how am I to write a conclusion without any of the other people's research??

I even suggested to the leader in making a Google Docs for all of us to submit our work. Even that hasn't been done!

We don't have a leader, I don't want to be the leader though. I do remember her threat to toss lazy people into the safety group. With my luck it'll be my entire group and I'll get passed to another lazy group after doing all this work.

Sounds like there's a communication issue with the group and someone needs to take charge otherwise without strong group members everyone will go their own way.

I use Twitter to get sports, movie and normal news. I also follow some runners and random celebrities. It's not really meant for keeping in touch with people you know.

Just finished typing up my big project for S WK, giving it one last read before turning it in since it's worth 50 points. Supposed to be 4-6 pages, I got to 5.5 so I think that's enough.

No, I don't know. That's why I'm asking these basic questions that probably have the Tweeter pros rolling their eyes at me. Lol. The only reason I signed up is to get updates from my kids athletic teams. Seems this is how they communicate nowadays. Since I had to sign up for that, I thought I might have some fun and see what all the hubbub was about. Still Tyrying to figure it out, as you can tell.
