Just did this myself. Going over lawyer fees now, even with a friend-of-the-family-discount he's offering me I'm looking at over 10,000$ - IF we win. Sitting here waiting on my Mrs to come downstairs before I head up to shave. I need to go and pick up the truck, which got a pretty great bill of health. Glad I called because they forgot to put on the thermostat gasket. Hopefully she's purring like a kitten again once I'm driving her.

Wrapped up what I'm mowing last night. Took me a couple of days thanks to some trouble areas and my front wheel drive being more an anchor than a wave. I'm definitely thinking I'm getting a no frills lawnmower this next go round.

I don't understand how you've had legal guardianship (and I assume some sort of medical rights) for this long and you have no say in her life if this is all going on. Or how it goes from NO chance to 30% chance.

I've been in her life for 9yrs (shes 9yo) but only been her legal guardian for 7 while her mom has been out of the country.
