Probably not as long as we might think. August/September right? It'll be here before we know it.

I'm thinking I'm going to get a bowl of Cheetos or Taco flavored chips, a coke and watch Split despite my wife and son. Long story short, our son has food dye allergies and knows what he can and can't eat. So he started playing the fiddle pretty hard in spite of having a pantry full of shit he can eat.

I love them both, but hate how my wife turns a blind eye to the things he pulls while constantly calling me on my bullshit. Sorry babe, parenting isn't a ****ing democracy and there always has to be a balance. Because I'll be damned if I'm raising someone who can't roll with the punches life has in store for him. Sorry for the rant. Thanks.

Free refills are the best thing for soft drinks. I bought a lot of bottled soda in Ireland, didn't get no free refills

Can't do beer out of cans either, prefer a glass but I'll take a bottle if I have to.

Placing an order for more coffee, nothing better than some BRCC in the morning, I probably should get a monthly subscription with them instead of making individual orders.
Then I'm gonna fight with the ReserveAmerica site to make our camping reservations for this summer. $20/night per site (and I reserve 4 sites every July for a mini-family reunion) to sleep on the freaking ground, freaking ridiculous but the family isn't interested in wild camping off the Appalachian trail.

I don't mind cans but prefer drinking beer out of glass, be it a frosted mug or a bottle.

if i had the extra money, i'd definitely be on a sub plan with them.

ot: been working outside, again. the place where i cut down a crap-load of wisteria...i'm trying to clean that up. there's a ton of small rocks there (my dad put them down; there used to be an arbor with a swing hanging from it). the hard part is gonna be removing all the rocks so i can start going over it when i cut the grass.

but it's a perfect day for working outside. so it's not that bad.

I've got just about all of them
Our son and his wife just picked up our 2 grandsons ( 6 & 9 ) from an overnight they had with us.

My wife and I are wiped out
She's laying down and probably already asleep, they did wear us out pretty good

Taking a huge break from hauling tree branches from my yard this weekend.
My brother stopped by yesterday with his chainsaw and cut 8 trees for me.
A total of 7 trips to the refuse station (twice this morning) and I probably hauled at least 400 pounds of yard waste.
My back hurts.

Just made one kid my world famous egg scramble, gave another kid $20 to go to Cane's and poured a cup of black gold. Nothing like coffee in the springtime. When the trees are budding and the birds a chirpin'.

I just got back from recycling a trash bag of plastic bottles and all I got was a measly $1.69 for it.

yeah, taking plastic to a recycler for money really isn't worth it. it's best just to put them out in a recycling bin to be picked up with the trash (if that's offered where you live).

The business where I redeem my aluminum/plastics for cash is right next to a recycling bin, about 50 yards away.
The money that I got isn’t enough to cover a gallon of gas. Oh well.....
