Nah, I get obsessed with how all of my cords and wires are getting knotted up in my computer nook. Yep, I recently spent like an entire night simply re-organizing my CD rack in the basement.

Just dropped $400+ on an exterior door to the back deck. Got some wood rot due to a builder that didn't wrap/seal the effing thing and it eventually developed in the bottom corner. Oh well, after installing it, I'll be ready to have Lowe's come and install a screen/storm door for the fall and football season.

In all seriousness, new doors make a big difference. My house has.. (thinking ).. 3 doors that right now go outside. All 3 entries have an exterior door a long with a storm door. And ALL 6 doors needed replaced. The set I did have done was kind of expensive but it was custom sized, painted, and installed.

I did one entry last summer and it made that area look so much nicer. Can't wait to get the other two areas done.

I also need other doors installed and/or replaced. I want to make an opening on our living room exterior wall and put in some French doors to go to the backyard.

There's some houses near me that their front entry do not have storm doors, so I'm wondering if I want to go that route... but I like the idea of having the exterior door open to look outside and get air through the house. But it looks better outside with no storm door..

Yeah man, this has been a long time in the making, so I had to pony up. The screen/storm door we went with is convertible so I can get the best of both worlds. On sale right now for like $240 I think.

Yeah, had a mini heart attack during Operation Tangled Mess. Computer took forever to load up and I was afraid it had died. Apparently it was going through an update when I closed it down

20yrs ago when I bought the house I'm in now, the front door had two small windows in it.
I took some white construction paper and cut it to fit and covered them up, since of course I did not want anyone at
my front door being able to look into my house.

Never have gotten around to doing anything more than that!
They do still look just fine
