Getting ready to bed. Watched Revolver and have to say I really enjoy Guy Ritchie movies. This one is definitely a rinse and repeat movie. The Mrs finally got home around 2130. So I'm hoping she had a nice going away party. The Boy was running interference and we'll have to catch up in the morning. Once we do, I'm going to try and make it a productive day. There's 2 used car dealers in my town (I think they're brothers, even). These guys sell mainly pickup trucks, but they have cars too. Their vehicles all have pretty high mileage, of course, but then the prices are low.

I have forever wanted a truck, and I would love to get one soon. But I know I can't go out right now and purchase a new truck, or even a gently used one. I would love a Ford F150, or even better F-250. Ram trucks are nice too.

But I drive by one of their lots everyday, and I took notice of a truck they're selling. It was finally listed on their website and yesterday I stopped to look at it. It's nice, has a few minor flaws, but I just don't know.

It's a 2007 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 4X4 SLT, in Blue. Has 177,000 miles

I hate the miles, but I know you can get a lot more too.. one thing I wish it had was the bigger Hemi engine, but this one has the 4.7L Magnum engine. Not terrible, but still.

The driver's seat has a rip on the side, and the paint had some minor scratches by the bed of the truck and 1 spot near tailgate handle had some bubbling. Otherwise, it's good.

The guy is asking $9,000 for it. I know that's high. Trade-in value is half of that and private party is around $6,030. Guy claimed he put money into it, but who knows if he really did and on what. If I can get the price down, I think I'd be good.

My wife doesn't want 3 car payments, and I don't really either. But hers is a lease, and my car has negative equity (mileage, rocker panel damage). I would have to finance this purchase (wish I had several grand lying around), but my thought process was to Uber it up a weekend each month and that's my payment, essentially.

Finally got to sleep in this morning! Been awhile since I could do that, and looks like I'm going to be busy every weekend going into the summer.
Just finished breakfast (a "McMike" - sausage, egg, cheese and hash brown patty sandwiched between two pancakes-yum!) now drinking my second cup of freedom fuel (if you haven't had any black rifle coffee you have no idea what you're missing-to think I used to swear by Death Wish for years, this stuff is tons better).

Now paying some bills, then I'm gonna finish up a couple chores I started before breakfast and get dressed for job#2, then meeting the Lady and kid at my parents' house for a early Memorial Day BBQ/bonfire tonight.

Well the Mrs just left to head out to the coast to her mom's place. Apparently her cat ran away despite being on a leash and vest and she's fallen down a couple of times. Add to that our "guy" wants to bring out a serious cash buyer to look at the property. So it looks like just the boy and I today. Might go upstairs and grab a shower while he's preoccupied. Then I need to come up with a plan of attack for today. Part of me just wants to go back to bed, but the boy has to eat. He's on the GRID!

Alright, first thing you need to do is break down the vehicle mileage by how many years it has been on the road. In this trucks case, 11 years and it is averaging 16,000 miles per year. That's not bad. When I was selling the national average was about 15,000 miles. So the mileage isn't bad, considering the age of the vehicle. The vehicle is definitely overpriced and you should have it looked at by a outside shop. I'd also have them fix the seat if this is the truck for you, but it doesn't seem like it is. Because you have more negatives than positives. Anyway, food for thought when looking at the next vehicle.

Only two are available for store pickup at my closest store so I'll do that in just a bit before I head to Straw Hat Pizza for lunch buffet and tennis. Anyone have issues with your Netflix account. I got an email last night that said your password has been changed. Then about two minutes later I got another email saying my email attached to my account has been updated to a new email to sign in. I tried to log in and said there is no email on file and keeps offering a free month since it's a new account. I tried to call the 800 number but they want me to enter in a code that came with the email they sent me but there is no code. I am not super worried as my CC expired this month and I already have a new one. The thing that sucks is I have just under $200 worth of gift cards on my account. I am guessing I lost those. I have never given my password or account to anyone. I did however sign into a roku for my dad (same house only us) so he can stranger things. Just think I got hacked or it was because of my expired CC but that wouldn't change my password.

Any thoughts?
