Sitting here waiting for The Mrs and MiL to return from their ladies day out. The Boy let me take a nice nap earlier and I’ve been playing catch up online. Want to have a drink, but should probably eat something once they get home.

Hey Mike, trip was fairly uneventful, but took longer as expected with us doing a two car caravan and stopping every night to make sure my MiL didn’t get too burnt out. Although the first few days were rough on me. I think the lack of sleep and stress got to me. Woke up a couple of times with migraines. We ended up staying in Utah a couple of days and checking out some sites out there.

Anyway, I’d say it was almost a week. We rolled into here 2 weeks last Tuesday. Found a house in a nearby town called Gilmer in about 5 days. Our offer was accepted and now we are waiting to her back from the owner on the repairs needed the inspection found. Hopefully they come through and make the repairs. As it was in a great neighborhood and the most unique, move in ready house we found.

Just got back from doing a sourcing run and then updating my thread. It sure is keeping me busy but it's fun.

Was going to make plans to go to dinner with a friend tonight but I think we'll wait for another weekend. Just surfing the boards for a bit.

Well my fishing trip was a bust, it was just way too hot by the time I got to the lake and there was a damn graduation party going on not far away so between the noise from them, the heat, and the fact that the fish weren't really biting I decided to bug out early. Ended up at my folks' house to help my Pops work on his truck, when we finished that I spent a few hours taking a step back in time going through old childhood (and earlier) pictures with my mom.

I just got home a few minutes ago (10:00), both the fiancee and kid are already asleep and wouldn't you know it I have to be up in less than 4 freaking hours for mandatory OT at work tomorrow.so I think I'm gonna grab a bite to eat, have a drink and head to bed myself.

Yeah it sucks but the kid was happy to hear I had so much bad luck because I decided to go without her lol oh well. I probably won't the opportunity to go back up to the lake for atleast 3weeks now...

Ot: At work again for mandatory overtime. My lady's pissed off cause she took today off to spend the day with me and woke up this morning to me gone. Ohh I'm sure I'm going to be sleeping on the couch tonight
