Nah, I took a picture and called it good. I generally leave wildlife alone. It is pretty country in our area. So the deer and other animals tend to come around. I need to teach our son about leaving snakes alone.

At work, sleep deprived and hungover as expected. A couple coworkers invited me to have a couple drinks with them after work but right now all I want to do is go home to bed. No word from the girls in Florida this morning or last night even, hope they're still having fun

It's a lesson he will probably have to learn the hard way unfortunately. We live in the country, and my daughter went through a phase where she wanted to keep wildlife as pets. I dont know how many snakes she caught, mostly garden variety but she came within an arm's length of a rattler once. If I weren't there to pull her away she would've been bit. I had her check out some snake books from the library and read about the dangers of snakes. She stopped picking them up soon after that.

Nope, back in Washington State we had garden snakes and whatnot. Here though we’ve got a lot of poisonous snakes here and I can’t take that risk.

Sitting here having some coffee with a beautiful view. Won’t have this in our new neighborhood, but will have a mortgage free, beautiful house.

Thinking I might go for a drive. Too bad everything is so far away or it might be fun. Hoping once we get in town things will be easier to get to. Strange that Target is everywhere back in Washington, but only in the larger cities here.

worked at my friend's house today and the heat/humidity was absolutely brutal. more work tomorrow and saturday, as well. but, he's paying and i need the money. soooo......

also, he gave me some more amazon.....money? gift cards? whatever, don't really know. i always use them to buy more movies. so i picked up ready player one and am about to watch that.
