Chillin after a 2nd swim for the FurBrats. It's a beautiful day!
When the wife gets home, I'm gonna grill some great looking striploins. I usually get ribeyes, but the striploins were nicely marbled.

LOL there were 6 turkey burgers for the 4th. Party guests ate 0 and I ate 1. I know what I'm having for in my lunch on Friday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday instead of a peanut butter sandwich. :P

I just got back from my sister's home. She and her family are on vacation for a week and I have the responsibility of checking her mail, newspaper and making sure everything is okay.
She loaded the fridge with Hungry Man tv dinners for me to eat, too.

Coffee and some banking... paid my cable bill and looked into dropping the cable part since we don't watch a whole lot of TV (most of the time it's just on in the background) but I found out if I do I'd basically be paying the same amount just for the Internet (I have a bundled deal), surely something isn't right there? Too bad TimeWarner/Spectrum/Charter has a damn monopoly in this area for high speed internet. I do know the cable/internet bundle is only good for 1 year so maybe I'll get a lower bill for just Internet next January.

Anyway, I'm getting ready to take a shower and get dressed to go over to my folks' place to take my mom & brother out for lunch. Who knows where we'll end up, Applebee's probably since that's pretty much all that's close by, oh well $1 long island ice teas sound good even before noon Then the rest of the day, I don't know, maybe I'll go fishing or just come back to the pad and do nothing since I have to work all weekend again.

I just ate whatever was in the fridge, probably a bit too much junk food for dinner and some healthier food I took with me. It was a decent week at my sister's house but at least I was there by myself with her pets. This June-October time by myself at my parents' house is better, except when other people come over and make it a lot more work than it should be.

Congrats! If you don't mind me asking, what's the new venture? Not many people would be happy for longer hours.

No problem at all, It's in a local Barrel mill in my town, They are working overtime right now because of wine season, at 10 hour day shifts I'm looking at 60 hours a week.

Congrats on having what I hope is a relaxing day.
