LOL I run at 6 AM on Sundays now to beat the sweltering heat and hopefully get as much of my run in as possible without encountering other people.

To get my favorite brew I'd have to drive about an hour away to the closest store that sells it so I guess I'll have to settle for some cheap mainstream stuff tonight Definitely making the trip to get good beer for my backwoods camping trip in less than a week though!)

I run all day long at work that I'm thinking about picking up a fitbit or garmin vivoactive watch to track my distance, thing is mlst of my running happens to bein a freezer and idk if it would be wise to wear a $300+ watch in there.

Yeah I'm iffy on using my watch for any sport but running, even though it says I can. I also wouldn't wear it in a freezer.

20 miler today, hope I can handle it, longest run I've been up to so far training for San Francisco was a 15 miler. 3 more weeks to go.

20 miles...wow. My legs are usually well spent after the 5k mud run i do with my daughter twice a year. Speaking of which I believe #2 is coming up so I have to see if we're doing this one, she's in modified XC track this year but other than the constant running around at work I haven't done a bit of training since run #1 back in April


OT: On my lunch break, thinking about bailing today at the 10hr mark instead of staying late again. Way too nice outside to be working indoors. I havealso been thinking about what I'm going to eat tonight, this bachelor-style life isn't for me, I'm not used to cooking for one. Maybe I'll splurge and just get some take out....

I got to 16 miles, ran about 15.5 of them. Not too confident right now with 3 weeks left before my first big city marathon. Was initially aiming for a 3:30 finish but right now I'd be happy just getting under 4:15, which would be a new PR.

5ks are good, keep at it.

Marathons are a brutal amount of training, even for someone like me who's finished 4 of them.
