Working...but I have only 2.5 days before my vacation officially begins! I think I'm going to use some of the time off to explore another career path. This one's taking a toll on me, physically and morally.

Going through the clothes in my closet and bagging up a lot of old shirts, jackets and other things I don't wear anymore to eventually haul off to Goodwill. Been doing some cleaning in my room lately. Have thinned out my CD collections a bit (music albums and soundtracks) and moved them into new towers, boxed a bunch of books and other stuff (figures, collectibles, trinkets, etc.) that were taking up space on shelves and in the closet and dropped them off at Goodwill recently, and now I'm thinning out some of the clothes in my closet.

Watching some TV and drinking a beer while I wait for my fiancee's evening phone call. My bachelor life is soon coming to an end, as they're expected to leave Florida Saturday morning.

Sitting here drinking what I think is my 3rd or 4th bourbon mixer and eating some Starburst. Spent the day chauffeuring the Mrs. to furniture stores to look at a bedroom set for her mom and a mattress/dining table for our new home. We're going to go with the kid that took the soft approach. She's going to take her Mom on Thursday and see which one of the sets she likes so we can get her squared away once the house closes. Fingers crossed I can get a decent nights sleep tonight.

Today is the last beautiful day for quite a while so we're gonna spend the afternoon on a friend's boat. It's gonna be a blast swimming with the FurBrats in the middle of the lake.

Looks like it's not going to be 100 again for awhile here, that makes me so happy. Watching more M*A*S*H season 4 on Hulu and brushing my teeth. Always hate shifts where I'm not allowed to wear headphones because I hear a lot more of the dimwittery that comes out of my co-workers' mouths.

they ran the lines for fiber a few weeks ago, so i'm wondering if they're just finishing that up and making sure the connections are good.
