Sitting at my desk watching a thunderstorm pass by. The temperature dropped to 75 degrees from 88. Humidity is still crazy at 89% but tomorrow should be a much nicer day.

Just got home from our preempted camping trip. Half unpacked and now just sittin out on the patio drinking a PBR and watching the sun set. Thinking about what I'm going to fix for dinner tonight..

Scheduling my next two weeks. This is it. The home stretch. Summer semester is almost over. And it's looking like a b*tch. Five exams (2 exams and four Finals), two mid-terms, a project report, and two essays.

i'm gonna be sad when they close the sears store at the mall, here. i love going into the toy section (i.e., tool section) and spending a while looking at and playing with all the new, shiny stuff.

#2 and researching camping equipment. All my current stuff is decades old and could use updating, especially our 20 + year old tent with worn seams. Thing is after this summer I'll be camping solo (my fiancee told me this past weekend would be her last camping trip unless I buy a camper - which I won't be doing). That works for me because I prefer primitive camping instead of public campgrounds. i'm looking at backpacking tent/ruck sack and a alcohol stove. One of my favorite places to go involves a 8 mile hike from the only place where I can park my truck, so the lighter the better
