Watching a spot of M*A*S*H before I head out to buy those 2 pairs of dishwashing boots and that black polo. Looking forward to trying out more of those hacked in NES Classic games when I get back before I head to Equalizer 2 tonight.

Wow that was a quick purchase. When I was shopping for a house, I was told it could take MONTHS before the purchase was finalized, and that was after I told the realtor I'd be a cash buyer.

that's another thing i've never understood....

if i have the money...like cash-on-hand or a cashier's check, why does it take so damn long to get all the paperwork done? with cash, you should be able to just say:

"ok, here's the amount you want"

"thanks. here's the keys to your new home."

you both sign something stating that you bought it from them (or vice versa) and you both go about your life. i just don't see why banks/financial corporations have to make such a big deal out of it. if you have the money on hand, what's the holdup? if you both agree to the price and it will be sold/bought as-is.....it should take less than a week to get shit done.

watching the guy in this video complain about how heavy the braided cable was on his mouse before he replaced it with a non-braided cable.

he actually said it "created some of the worst drag of any mouse cable i've ever used because it was just so friggin' heavy".

really? are you that weak that you can't muster the physical strength to move a mouse due to the drag of the cable?

now the mouse he's talking about is the same mouse i have; the logitech g502. that particular mouse comes with weights that you can add or subtract to tune the weight to your liking. i keep ALL the weights in mine because i like the feel of it. but it is by no means heavy. how weak is this guy that he thinks a braided cable on a mouse is heavy?

with that said, i love braided cables. both my mouse and nostromo have a braided cable. i wish my keyboard had one, as well.

Ever since learning about the upcoming Mary, Queen of Scots movie, I've had this wiki page open on my phone that lists the English monarchs up until 1707 I think. Anyway, reading now about Lady Jane who was queen for 9 days until her execution at age 16 or 17. She was removed from the throne and replaced with Bloody Mary and eventually she was convicted of treason and sentenced to death. She was to be spared until her father and brothers joined a rebellion against Mary. Her execution was postponed for three days to give her the chance to convert from Protestant to Catholic. She declined and was beheaded shortly after. Reading her final words. It's amazing what people with conviction will do.

I cant speak for anyone else’s experience, but there’s a lot more involved in selling and buying a house. Whether it is cash or financing. Competition, offers, counteroffers, amendments, inspections, etc. You also need to make sure you have someone working in your best interest. Lots more, but it’s late and I’ve had a long day

Mary was already a Catholic, Queen ELizabeth of England was Protestant....

that's what i'm saying. i just understand why it has to be that difficult and involved. if 2 people make an agreement on something, it shouldn't take that long for the sale to happen.

yes, get the house inspected by someone you trust. if they say it's all good, you make an offer. if they accept the offer, you give them money and they give you a key. that's as difficult as it needs to be.

oh, and i don't trust realtors. if i'm going to guy a house, i don't need a realtor telling me which house to buy. i know what i like/want and don't need anyone else telling me anything different.
