Sitting here eating Skittles and drinking some bourbon to try to get that shit Tex-Mex taste out of my mouth Once I’m done I think I’m calling it a night. Have to get up early to go sign for the house. Then The Mrs is going to drag me to look at the house.

I might insist we go and get The Boy and MiL to take a tour after we do that instead of spending the day there. We can always measure rooms and spot check things on Tuesday when I go on a Eagle Rare run or Wednesday while waiting for the trailer. Still, I know she’s pretty jazzed about finally getting the keys. So I won’t burst her bubble.

I didn't watch the whole thing and it starts a little different but this is the same video. I only watched a couple minutes of the video posted on Facebook. I haven't actually watched the YouTube version yet. The fact that it's in an urban environment makes it even more sick!

I am on hold with United Airlines. Trying to change the return date on my trip to Minnesota from the 13th to the 8th since the employer I will be starting with soon doesn't really do PTO. Plus I will pretty much be a new employee there despite almost 8 years experience at that location. So I want to move the return date, the other option would be to hope they let me have the 8 days off but in that case I not only (most likely) look bad and also have to eat over a week of salary. I wanted a longer trip but it'll be fine, just have to enjoy Saturday's trip to California that much more.

Just finished changing my flight from the 13th to the 8th. I'll eat the $52 since it means I will miss 3 days of work instead of 8. Also called the dentist and made sure my appointment for today is canceled since I am 90% sure my dental insurance is already gone. Third phone call of the morning was to my former employer's administration office. Want to discuss my 401k benefits. Not really interested in keeping them in anything, just want to cash them out. Will have to see what they say when they call me back.

Going to spend the day watching M*A*S*H and probably doing a little bit of SNES gaming.

Just pre-ordered the Target Avengers: Infinity War exclusive that comes with the Funko for a buddy in the UK. Might get around to preordering the Best Buy Steelbook for myself as it will be covered with a gift card and RZ certificates.
After that, off to Target, Barnes & Noble and Best Buy. Might go to the cemetery as well and then I'm thinking maybe Home Town Buffet for Military Mondays later this afternoon.
And before I go home, I'll make one final stop at a different Best Buy and pick up something for Kip
