I submitted the wrong draft of my paper and now I'm super upset over the low grade I got. Like it was literally the paper WITHOUT any sources or work citations included.

Yikes, reminds me of how I felt when I got a 58 on that final paper for S WK 221. Lucky I got out of that class with a B- but it sure kicked my rear.

House is officially ours. The Mrs signed the papers this morning and we have keys to it. Spent a little time there and the roofers are still hard at it in this Texas sun. Electricity got shut off even though it wasn’t suppose to happen. Should be back up tomorrow. The Mrs is wrapping up the last of the utilities set up as we speak. I’m going to try and talk her into lunch once she’s done. I’m hungry and tired.

Checking my voice mail since I fell asleep when I got home from work and missed a call. Apparently I'm starting my job a week early, the owner of the tire shop wants to meet with me Wednesday night. A little nervous about this venture, I never really saw myself as a supervisor - but I refuse to not be one of those lazy SOBs I've always worked for who refuse to help out if we get swamped.

Now I'm getting ready to find something to eat for dinner.

Day 4 in the ICU with my dad. One hour at a time is what I am told. Nurses here are wonderful. It's amazing how much they truly care and will talk with you and the patient. They literally come running to the room every 5-10 minutes.

sorry to hear about your dad. the whole "one hour at a time" thing is a pain in the ass...i know. well, it's more like excruciating pain that you can't do anything about except sit there and wait. it's just the most useless feeling in the world. good vibes and thoughts going out to you and your family.

Had a cyst on my back pretty big sticking out under skin, I was moving stuff for my Brother, I had bent over to pick up box and he said why is your spine bone sticking out. I never noticed it before. I think it's cause I lost alot of weight that it showed itself, anyhoo I've been going to dermatologist she has a surgeon on site finally 3 wks ago i had it surgically removed, the incision site stretched across my back in between the 2 shoulder blades worse place to get surgery, but procedure was painless accept for anesthesia shots they gave me 6 shots felt like deep burning bee stings, but luckily I was completely numb. Felt sorry for him cause it was all hands on deck at least 3 other nurses had to help. Been on 2 wk antibiotic therapy (Keflex)cephalexin. Had sutures removed this morning. Now I have to wait, and then start using silicon scar patch for at least 3-6 months to reduce appearance.
