Chilling and playing catch up over a cup of coffee. Swung by the house last night to see how far the painters have gotten on the house. Looks like they are still in the prep stage, but I can see the progress. Might talk to them about what tool they use to clean off old paint along the inside windows. They’ve done such a great job that I’d like to do the same along the outside of them. Now I guess I’ll grab a shower while The Boy is fed and preoccupied with one of his Lego Batman games.

She just left about 15 minutes ago but others are here. I love tennis so this is pretty awesome just watching them practice.

Just got home from taking my mom out to dinner for her birthday. Felt guilty as I've been preoccupied with work & other crap going on that I forgot it was today, thankfully my better half remembered

...Still not as bad as my shithead little brother who up and left the state earlier in the week and couldn't even call her even after every thing she's done for him. He's lucky I don't know where he's at because I swear I would ditch work just to hunt him down and beat some sense into him.

Back in paradise, Ha! On my lunch break enjoying a cup of coffee, just got off the phone with my goddaughter - she's only been gone 2 days and i think shes already a little homesick, she won't admit it but it's the only excuse i can think of why she'd call at 6:30am (pst). I told her I'm looking at transfer possibilities here at work to join her later this year and she got all excited. Now how do I convince my fiancee who refuses to leave NYS for longer than 2weeks at a time to move 3000miles away, especially to a state that sees rain 9 out of 12months of the year? Hmm

i took down a couple shelves earlier, filled the holes, sanded, and painted. but the paint i used was the wrong shade so i have to repaint tomorrow. thankfully it's not an entire room, just part of one wall.
