Wide awake and waiting for hurricane Hector to pass about 150 miles south of us. No matter how much the forecasters assure me that it'll track that way, I'm never comfortable until it's gone. It's eerily quiet tonight; no wind and even the Coqui frogs are silent.

I guess I'll try to get some sleep and see what morning brings.

Going to try and go back to sleep. Had a rough night of sleep. Then fell back to sleep, but had a bad dream that woke me up. So now I’m even more tired and my brain won’t leave me alone.

i wonder what would happen if they did away with awards...like, totally did away with them. no little statues, no awards shows, no anything. just....gone...

also, what constitutes what's popular? and who decides what is and isn't popular with regards to movies/films. is it simply based on the number of people that saw the movie at a theater? or is it based solely on word-of-mouth? or how much press-time it got? or how big the budget was? or how well it did in one country vs. any other country? because what's popular in this country may not be so in another; and vice versa.

laughing at the 2 voice messages i had on my phone.

2 different messages, 2 different people...and both of them kept saying my name like i'd answered the phone and didn't say anything...like they were trying to get my attention. all they kept doing was saying my name...lol.

I just use FB messenger for contacting people now. I'm not a phone person so that's part of the reason.

Home from work and for once I didn't have to go to job #2 tonight. Good thing cause I could use some sleep for a change. Having a beer and trying to watch some TV but The Lady has been complaining nonstop about her job, I guess her supervisor has been a jerk and rumors are going around that they are laying off personnel in her area, I just told her if she's not happy to quit, my job pays our bills as it's proven to do and my income from job #2 can go towards paying her her monstrous debt (I think she's seriously considering it).
