thinking about it, i've never ridden in a taxi/cab. the closest i came was when i had to take the shuttle home from the airport, once. but that didn't cost me anything as it was a service offered by the airport.

other than that, i've never ridden in one.

I've thought about becoming a Uber driver but I've got way too much on my plate these days adding another job even one on the side like that, would be ludicrous.

I know The City as I've lived there several times over the years.
The next morning when i had to go back to my sisters' to get our vehicle, the cab I was in could've taken 3 different routes and took one of the two that I would've. He was a good driver and I tipped accordingly.
I sympathize with workers who have to deal with the general public on a daily basis. I'd imagine cab drivers get ripped off all the time.

After that I might head over to SJSU's tennis courts to see if they're open on the weekends. Two weeks ago, at the tennis tournament, I met this guy from a tennis message boards that I go to. I had never really talked to him a whole lot but I knew who he was and I had heard he's a pretty good player. Well at the tournament I see this Asian kid in a UCLA hat and knowing that he was from SoCal, I wondered if it might be him. Sure enough, it was. He moved up here to work at Apple which is good for me because I need good players to hit with. We're going to hit tomorrow which is why I'm going to see if the courts are open.

And then I'm going to kind of continue wasting the day away

Sitting here trying to find my calm while my son does his school work on the computer. Contractor sends a picture of the gap between the new bathroom fan and the ceiling. Now I didn’t get hot about this. We knew this might happen. No, I got the ass when he told me he couldn’t do the repairs until Monday. I had to remind him he told us he could make it work no matter what we picked. Now as frustrating as this situation is the casual attitude that my wife is taking by telling me, “If it Monday, it’s Monday! Stop stressing.” pisses me off more

Just now got back from taking our 2 granddaughters out for another round of school shopping.
