Where did you go in Europe? I was just chatting with BizCat tonight and discussing our trip that we're going to take someday. He kept mentioning family and I kept rolling my eyes
I've been to Italy twice and to France twice. As far as France is concerned, I only really have been to Paris. Which. Is. Amazing.

In Italy, I've been to Venice once, Rome twice, Florence twice, Sienna once. All of which are also AMAZING.

Oh, and I spent the night in Frankfurt, because our flight was delayed.

EDIT: Yes, and that's exactly what I meant.

That's awesome! Sound like some great trips. Are you planning your next trip yet? I don't know if you like to talk about traveling as much as I do, but if you do, I like to listen I haven't been to France yet but did cross the border into Colmar with my buddy who I stayed with near Stuttgart. He took a Monday off and took me there and then we came back and stopped in Freudenstadt which is a town in the Black Forest.

While I was staying in Patsch, Austria, I took a little trip to this town I saw in my tour book (DK Eyewitness) and unintentionally crossed the border into Italy.
I started the trip in Berlin and ended in Vienna but before I left, I was considering starting in Frankfurt and planning to hit the Dolomites and find a town in Northern Italy to visit for a few days.

Have these trips been part of tours or on your own? Did you drive while you were there? Where to next?

Oops

Anyways, I was with my parents, but there was a lot of travel -- none driving, though. In Paris, you just take the Tube everywhere. I've actually never been to to NYC, but I assume the underground is about the same. In Rome and Florence you do a lot of walking, but it's fun. Our hotel was right near the Coliseum for example. My hotel in Paris both times was right next to the Jardin du Luxembourg.. I mean, these were not hard times

Just because she refused your happy ending down at Massages r Us, doesn't mean you can get a refund.

LOL Wabo! It was a bookstore error, once I showed them proof, they started the refund. Wonder how long it will take to show up in my account.

Relaxing and having a beer or two after another 100 mile bike ride(well, 103 miles to be exact). It was freaking hot out there and I ran out of water towards the end of the ride, but otherwise it was a nice mixture of on and off roads and hills. Starting to feel sore as f**k though (back to back 100 mile seemed like a good idea in hindsight). Definitely going to feel it tomorrow, oh well I'm just working so whatever.

Also thinking about what I'm gonna have for dinner, I'm thinking a veggie burger with baked sweet potato fries or something of that variation (in other words I'm really craving BEEF and deep fried regular cut fries).

Coffee break. Back at the grind, today's my Monday and boy has it started out really shitty. First i overslept, then I forgot to turn the coffee pot off -thankfully i remembered but when I ran back into the apartment I must've tossed my house/car keys on the table so I locked myself out. Had to call my brother who has my truck and a spare key in case of an emergency, but of course he couldn't find the key so i had him drive over so i could take the truck to work. If of course that made me ~30min late but at the moment i dont really give a damn. I do care that i left my cold weather gear in the Jeep as i intended to wash them over the wknd, but fortunately my supervisor was understanding enough not to assign me to the freezer today.

Searching for a watch storage/display case for my growing watch collection. I have 9 watches right now, so I think going with a 10-watch case would be short sighted. Probably need at least a 12 watch one, but will also consider 20 and 24 watch cases. I don't like the double-decker styles and they have to have an actual metal hinge and be black with silver hardware. And yes, I'm particular with some things.
