about to go to bed. i gotta get up at 4:00 am so i can be at work by 6:00. i have the coffee maker ready to go so it'll come on at 4:00 and my coffee will be ready by the time i get dressed and get out of the bathroom. i went ahead and made my lunch and got it ready so all i have to do is get it out of the fridge on my way out. i've also got my clothes out and ready to go.

i pretty much loathe early morning shifts...but i look at the positive in that i'll get off earlier than everyone else.

I'm sitting here utterly confused by the shotty internet at work.

I THINK I just bought a new phone but when I hit enter on the transaction it just spun and spun and spun and when I hit F5, it refreshed to the main page and I have not e-mail confirmation and I'm in limbo.

It's just been that kind of week.

I'll see when I get home.

EDIT: Ok..I just got an e-mail that it's still in my cart and I have 72 hours. No purchase was made. I'll wait until I get home.

I think I watched my cat have seizure at 5am today. He jumped out of my laundry basket and started to wobble away and collapsed. He laid down motionless for about 5 minutes until I picked him up. Even then he didn't movie but let out a little meow. Went to the vet and they think it was a seizure or stroke. They wanted to sedate him for some test but worried he might not come out of it because he is 18 years old. When we got to the vet he was putting up a fight with everyone so they said he was stable for now. I got to take him home with some pain meds. Only issue is the pain meds knock him out for a good 6-8 hours of just napping. I just want to make him comfortable and hope for the best. They want $1000 to put him under to take blood and run some other tests. They don't trust him awake with they way he was hissing and swatting at him. They even had me go back to the cages to bring him into the other room.

I know how you feel. I have an elderly dog who has a history of seizures. Other than that, she's perfectly healthy. It takes a lot out of her, but after laying down for an hour or so afterword, she's back on her feet. I always have to hold her so she doesn't try standing up and then face plant into the ground or make her way to a staircase. The vet gave us some pills to give her daily, but they actually triggered more seizures so we stopped giving them to her years ago. They've decreased in frequency since then which is good.
