Have not heard how the recovery has been after the bad fire(s) they had a few years ago.

I've been to the area 2 or 3 times but it's been over ten years since my last visit. I've always loved it down there. My wife has never been south so it'll be all new for her. I ended up booking my stay from 7/29 - 8/2. I do wish we had more time but there'll be plenty of other trips as my kids get older and can do more.

just got my computer hooked back up. i took it out to my shop and cleaned it. i usually don't wait this long between cleanings, but i'd been putting it off for a while. and there was a fair bit of dust inside of it. but my compressor made short work of it, lol. then i did some "housekeeping" on a few wires/cables. i also wiped off all the flat surfaces on the inside and outside. it looks WAY better and will probably run much cooler, as well.

Having a couple rum & cokes and watching some big bang theory while I wait for the Lady to get home. Looks like I don't have to report to work til 0830 tomorrow so I can stay up a little late tonight.

What did you think of the so called "dark parts?"

It seems John and Jane Q Public take their tvs out of the box from Best Buy and think they have a great picture until they have to actually TEST their setup and then they can't see anything

I was trying to explain picture settings and setup discs to a co-worker and she was just like "my husband can figure it out."
