the only thing i was thinking was..."coffee sounds good, about now". i can drink it any time of day or night. caffeine doesn't affect me, so i can drink a lot of coffee and go right to bed.

and a hurting back? sheesh, you have my sympathies. i've had back pain, before (mostly muscle pain) so i know that pain. and it SUX!

Waiting for the engineer to come out again after fixing the fridge in our fridge freezer last week but somehow damaging the water dispenser so it dispenses from undernesth the unit onto the floor now... still 15 years after we bought it and all being done under warranty for free can't be bad even if it means staying in on a Saturday afternoon when we would like to go out.

If this sounds familiar it's because a few posts up I was doing the same yesterday but the engineer only finished his previous job at 7:30pm and asked if he could come over today (in his own time) instead 'cos he was knackered and wanted to go home... at that time of night I took pity!

by this time, i'd just tell them to bring you a new fridge. having to repeatedly come out to fix something (that they apparently broke) is more hassle than just sending you a new one.

Definitely not looking forward to working 5 days straight this next week. I’ve been doing too much OT lately and got the “we need to cut that out” speech. OK, give me someone worth a shit or get rid of the team bullshit. Otherwise shit isn’t going to be complete once I leave work
