I'm working shift until 3:30 PM but it's super slow today and i will be off tomorrow and then doing a OT shift on Sunday morning from 7 am to 3 pm which isn't too bad will be quiet at work either way.

My Lady's quitting her job at the hospital today, as they've been screwing her over on hours lately all because she refuses to join a union so she's going elsewhere. If my transfer goes through we may be moving down to Pennsylvania (near her hometown) so it may be just the right change for both us. Speaking of which we've got an appointment to meet with a realtor to look at a couple properties and to scope out the area we could possibly be living in.

I have Saving Private Ryan on. I meant to watch it yesterday, but my player needed a software update and I couldn't find the remote.
I don't know what won that year but, it's an fn crime that SPR didn't win Best Picture.

Yeah, Shakespeare In Love won Best Picture that year. I was in college studying filmmaking at the time and everybody in the film department was just in total disbelief the next day.

Helped my wife put together her treadmill earlier, got cleaned up. Then I ate some salsa and chips and washed it down with some Corona. Not my first choice, but not ready to hit the hard stuff just yet. Debating on my next move. Almost feel like taking a nap, because this weekend has just taken the wind out of my sails. Between the job front news and my family I’m not feeling too rested for next week. It doesn’t help that her friends are going to pop in on her birthday and I’m postponing our getaway until the next weekend

got to see an accident, though. although that's not really a good thing since there was a minor injury. cops were chasing some guy in a small and he plowed into the back of an suv. as soon as he got out of his truck, the cop put him in handcuffs and into the back of his squad car.

Sitting here drinking a Yuengling and discussing the apartment/house prospects we saw today with my fiancee while I wait for our dinner to cook. The kid is spending the night at Grandma's since I have to work some mandatory over time tomorrow, that way my fiancee can have a day to herself.
