Sitting here in the front room drinking some water with lots on my mind. I dropped off the mustang to have the airbags replaced and have the once over. Unfortunately that idiot who was our “reality agent” is the service tech at our local Ford dealership. So I’m not feeling all warm and tingly.

Then I received a corporate email from my old account saying they are starting a internal merchandising program. Which I don’t want to pursue, but do to their not being a lot of job opportunities around here for me, my wife is encouraging me to pursue despite not being happy there. Especially when I know the pay and conditions will still be the same with a new hierarchy.

O/t: taking my lunch break and registering my daughter for bball camp starting next week. Technically registration ended 2 weeks ago but since it's held at my old high school I managed to convince them to take one more(now I just have to figure out how she's getting to the school everyday...just a small dilemma lol)

yeah, i've had days/nights/days like that. it wasn't rare for me to work a 16 hour shift, stay up all night partying at a club, then leave the club to go home, take a shower, then right back to work. and i'd do that 3 days in a row. but i was much younger then and had the energy and stamina.

but the reason for today is because of a tooth ache and a really bad headache. it took 3 600mg tylenol to get rid of both. and coupled with my sinuses being stopped up AND draining (at the same time), i'm still not 100%. so what did i do? i went out to cut the grass...like an idiot. but, as my neighbor says, "i've never been accused of being smart". i still gotta cut the front, but at least i can do that with the riding mower so it won't take near as long nor as much energy.

but i had to stop to eat something, first.

tasting the eyeglass cleaning spray i just used....'cause i'm a dumbass.

i turned to spray the lenses of my glasses away from my desk and monitors, but when i did i turned and faced the fan i have sitting behind me and to the side a bit. and of course that means i got a face/mouth/nose/eyes full of the spray.

Sitting in the carport with “The Hens” clucking away, drinking a beer and chilling. I’m going to take the truck for drive here in a bit. Filled out a bunch of applications online and have an interview with UPS tomorrow. We’ll see if I hear from any of the other applicants.

Just got off work and finished seasoning a couple rack of ribs I picked up for dinner. Now drinking a beer in my folks' driveway and catching up on our lives while we wait for my fiancee& kiddo to show up.

Went to see Spider Man: Far from Home and did some yard work afterwards. I ended up skipping lunch, so I am now eating a Drumstick ice cream cone.

let's not use any American music like...maybe...oh, i don't know...Stars and Stripes Forever. instead, let's use a song about the russian's defeat of napolean. ya know...'cause it has nothing to do with the United States.

don't get me wrong...i love that piece of music, i really do. it's very powerful and can bring a lot of emotion...but it has absolutely NOTHING to do with this country. whoever made that decision needs to be given 20 lashes.
