Drinking a beer out on the balcony and listening to some great 80s rock & relaxing a bit while I wait for the girls to get home. Four more days before my vacation begins, road tripping to Nashville next week after our little wedding ceremony in the Catskills.

Sitting here drinking a whiskey mixer and wishing I had more. Apparently my wife has been drinking it instead of that gut rot bourbon whiskey

I see you're a man who likes his scotch, Don, what's your favorite ? I don't have a fancy palette myself I've been drinking the cheap of the cheap, Military Special -- someone gifted my fiancee and I some salted caramel Captain Morgan for Christmas, I don't usually go for the flavored stuff but it's actually pretty good over ice.

on topic, the girls have returned home so time for me to turn in for work tomorrow. The kid asked if she could stay up late and play Battlefield, and being the awesome father I am I gave in, against my fiancee's better judgment but hey it's her summer vacation and she's a good kid so what can it hurt?

I haven’t gone the Scotch route, I’m mainly a whiskey guy. Bourbon is as far as I’ve gone, but I usually stick to Eagles Rare there because it is smooth. The Mrs and MiL like the flavor stuff. Which is why I get the ass when my whiskey gets low. Since it is the only thing I drink. Speaking of gaming, going to sign off and play a little Ryse before I head off to bed. I played Doom earlier and wasn’t feeling too good. It has been awhile since I’ve played a fast motion game

I bbq'd some killer rib-eyes earlier and just now dropped the wife off.
I'm gonna do a quick surf then watch Marco Polo on netflix. Looks like a great show!

Watching Friends for the first time. Currently watching episode 6. I don't find it that funny or entertaining, to be honest, but boy I have picked at least 10 references depicted in other films and TV shows throughout. This has to be most quotable, referenced TV show ever?

I'm at work, returning to the threads after the long weekend.

I actually got to go on some movie runs this passed weekend and one BestBuy employee said they weren't going to sell movies anymore and then three more employees at ANOTHER BestBuy said he was nuts and they hadn't heard that.

I can't even imagine a world with no movies to collect

Anyway...I hope everybody had a Happy 4th

Back home from another “no show” interview. Although this time he did delegate it down to 2 drivers. I respectfully declined and now my wife is giving me the cold shoulder. So I’m considering going out to eat lunch. I should have just ate something before I came home. Let’s hope the recruiter comes through with an interview with the sister branch

Just got home from work, I'm currently sitting here drinking a rum & Coke (more rum than Coke, given the kind of day I just had) and waiting for the kiddo to come out of her bedroom where she's playing Super Mario Bros on the NES I hooked up for her the other day and say hello. Thinking before I have too much to drink I should probably call the recruiter who interviewed me on Friday back, he called this morning to give me another job offer, but I assume it's another Night Warehouse position which I'm not interested in. Of course I could be wrong, since I specifically told him I couldn't work nights...

I heard from the recruiter and have an interview at another location tomorrow. Hoping this one goes better.

I'll be having grilled cheese w/ham and soup for supper tonight. I've bbq'd for the last 3 days so a break from that.

I'm sippin coffee and surfin around. (you all can probably guess where the coffee is from)
I'd like to walk The Mutts before it rains again, then hopefully watch a movie.
