Just got back from taking The Mutt on a swim and walk and now will siesta.
I hope this 'getting up too damn early' thing passes by the time I have to go to work.

Right sk33tr? Hope that gets sorted out Scarriere. I was doing that towards the end of my last job. Sitting here in the carport. It’s a little overcast and sprinkling, which is causing a nice, cool breeze. I was going to watch something or play a game, but got side tracked with bullshit. Apparently it is funny to The Mrs and MiL that our son is a disrespectful little shit to me.

I just ended up coming in and cleaning out the main litter box for cats I didn’t want. Don’t get me wrong, I care for them. I’m just tired of the amount of disrespect I’m getting around here. While it didn’t start when the MiL moved in, it certainly hasn’t helped. Which is why I’m a little concerned about how much more I can take. Especially when I forgot to move the couch back.

So one or the legs I jury rigged feel off and I had both of The hens supervising. Same as the other night with the clogged toilet. Let me fix the shit you broke, don’t hover over me and be in my way. That I have to tell two adults “Excuse me, I need to get through!” is a bit of bullshit

Completed lots of outdoor work today. Trimmed some branches and cleaned the gutter outside of my bedroom. Gutter was clogged with leaves and mud. I practically wiped down the entire gutter channels.
Now, you can literally drink out of the gutter. Nah, not really, otherwise that would be gross.

I’m tired.

If I come across an application that calls for duplicate info that can be found on my resume, I simply click out of it and do not proceed. I'm not wasting my time. Boom.

Having another cup of coffee, while I wait for my wife to get ready then another 10+hr road trip to take the fossil (err, I mean her 92yr old grandmother) home and go to Virginia Beach among other things as a little honeymoon for us. Really hoping my waste-of-space brother is home when I drop my daughter off at my parents' on our way out of town because I want to punch him in the head for not coming to our wedding (he was supposed to be my best man), I got a text from him yesterday morning saying "bro i cant make it - peace". Really, what kind of inconsiderate b**tard skips his only brother's wedding and leaves that kind of text?

i'm hoping i don't hear any kind of explosion.....

they've been replacing the sewer lines around the neighborhood lately. about 15 minutes ago they hit a gas line; and it's spewing out gas at a pretty good rate. you can hear it and smell it...especially if you go outside. and it's on the street that runs right beside my house.

edit: more than an hour later....and gas is still spewing out. gas company doesn't know where the shutoff is. UM...WHAT?! how the **** can the GAS COMPANY not know where the shutoff is to the GAS?!

2nd edit: they FINALLY found the shutoff and got it closed...just now

Sitting here in my hotel room in Virginia drinking a cup of nasty Starbucks coffee and returning some happy birthday texts and e-mails. We'll probably hit up Denny's for my free birthday Grand Slam breakfast and head out to Williamsburg for some sightseeing before we head back to NY, although I'm not looking forward to that since the forecast shows rain the next couple days.
