Having a break from re-organising DVD/Blu-ray room shelves to give my back a rest before doing a huge move to try to get a massve amount of new purchases on there.

So far cleared off all the one I have found I duplicate updates of... will separate out those I still need to keep the DVD as it has loads of extras they lazily dropped for the 'superiour in all ways' Blu later as I want to make space right now!

Just finished up dinner and going to get the cats and dog some treats. Debating my next play after they. I tried to lie down earlier when I got back from dropping off The Mrs, but don’t really feel rested. Most likely, knowing she was stuck at the airport. She was just getting on the plane on a flight that kept getting pushed back from its original 1430 take off time.

And now I’m wondering if I’m headed back to Dallas. Apparently The Mrs flight might be cancelled if they can’t get certified for a flight. So everything is up in the air on what is happening next. She was in good spirits and has met a bunch of nice people.

@The_Donster - that sucks about your wife's flight, where is she headed if you don't mind me asking? Is the flight canceled due to weather or just mechanical issues?

O/T: Just got off the phone with my wife. They're spending the night at our new house, while I'm back here in this empty apartment with only my camping gear and a few things we couldn't fit in the moving truck today that I'll be moving after my overtime shift at work tomorrow. I’m not sure what the issue was sk33tr. Her flight eventually took off and she’s headed back to Seattle for a wedding and business. Anyway, heading off to bed once I get the kitten to knock it off. Everyone but him is settled. So it is the perfect time for him to stir shit up lol. Night all.

Trying to get ahold of a buddy of mine who helped me out a couple weeks ago with the plumbing at the house, as apparently we don't have any running water in the bathroom upstairs according to my wife. Ugh I checked it before I left last night and it seemed to be fine, now im thinking it was leftover water in the pipes or something. Oh and i guess I hung our kitchen door back wards when I finished renovating it. Oops - not sure how I didn't notice that. Oh well that's an easy 10min max fix (6 screws). Home ownership sucks and it hasn't even been a month yet lol

Sitting here debating my next move. House is quiet without The Mrs. I had some lunch and really should grab a shower and shave, but I really want to go take a nap. Might make The Boy a bowl of strawberries and do that nap thing instead

Just for clarification the foundation was checked during the inspections and is good..

Ahh, a nap that sounds good right about now. Its just too damn hot out here, at least my truck has awesome A/C, unlike the Jeep which needs to be recharged. Anyway finally got the truck loaded with the last of our belongings out of the apartment, now for the 2 hour drive to the house, I'll probably stop and pick up some pizza and wings for dinner on my way.

Tons of yard work today. Trimmed the branches from my rambutan and star fruit tree. 2 trips to the refuse station and disposed around 200 pounds of branches. Love my pole saw.

Just got out of the shower. I’m thinking about eating one of my mint ice cream sticks.

Sitting here waiting for The Boy to go to sleep. Thinking I’m having a drink despite me having a follow up interview tomorrow afternoon. Scratch that, made a drink. Helluva day. Spent most of the evening arguing with him

Debating on if this independent sales position is the right fit. Lots of pros and cons. One of which is not taking a physical toll on me, since it internet sales. Con being that it isn’t a larger base + commission. It is one or the other.

Working, I dunno how long I'm going to be able to handle working 10+HR shift and commute 4hrs a day, I may need to swallow my pride and go get a lower paying job. It's only the 2nd day, I'm thinking about downloading podcasts or a book on tape thing to listen to while i drive. Depending on how much progress we make in the next 2hrs I need to take the Jeep in for service after work today, hopefully they can figure out why my blower hums loudly when the AC is on, without throwing random costly parts at it.

For anyone interested, the water issue at my house was indeed low pressure caused by a leaking pipe fitting. Literally a 10min fix.
