Well, that was a big waste of a day. I left early to make sure I got to my interview early and was given the wrong address, but was still 10 minutes early. I show up and the owner is in the middle of an interview. Next thing I know I’m being interviewed by someone else who had no personality. That warm and fuzzy feeling I had the other day at the other office is pretty much gone. I hate having my time wasted

Thanks. With my wife out of town I’d have to take a rain check if you did It will turn around and who knows, maybe I’ll hear from them. Although I’m not sure I’d work for anyone who tried to lower the already low base fee. Especially when she tells me there are bass + commission positions available.

That, and apparently we only get 25% off the down payment and not total sale. Longest employee was the person who interviewed me the other day and the shortest was 12 hours. Shit just feels a little shady the more the girl talked. Which is why I’m focusing on that 12 hours. Clearly that was an experienced person who smelled bullshit

Finishing this beer and about to turn in for the night. Tomorrow's gonna be a long day, I'm sensing another 12 hour shift at the sh!thole then I'm taking the kiddo to a monster truck show which I've done since she was 4, I've been going since I was 8, its something we both look forward to. Get home around midnight only to drop the kiddo off and head to work since I have this 2hr commute and start at 3am. Now that I think about it, I guess Wednesday will likely be a longer day. Damn I remember when I could work til 11pm, get no sleep due to having a newborn and still be back to work by 6am every single day. #ImGettinTooOldForThisShit

On the plus side I have a interview with another grocery distributor on Friday, a slight pay cut but set hours [4 ten hour shifts] (none of this 4am-to-whenever we finish shit) a lot closer to home.

Good luck. I’m kicking myself for not looking at my email before I left for my interview. I probably would had more pep in my step. Apparently UniFirst Uniforms are hot on me. I had a phone interview last week and the recruiter was trying to fast track things. Hopefully they can make Wednesday-Friday work. I might take my son to the movies tomorrow. I’d like to watch that Spider-Man movie.

I'll be in that situation in about a month when the kid goes back to school. She's been on summer vacation since May since her school in WA went from Aug-May and schools here start up in Sep. She's been staying up til 4am every day and sleeping til 1-2pm. Ugh.


O/T - wrapping up this cup of nasty instant coffee. I should have left my French press and some real coffee(BRCC) here, since I no longer have a 24hr shop near here to buy a cup on my way to work. Really hoping for an easy day of work today.
