Hey, good morning Don! Glad you're feeling better. How's the job front looking? Any new leads? My interview for the FedEx driver was a bit of bust, apparently they were looking for overnight drivers, in and out of NYC, I told them I wasn't interested in overnights (Wife is trying to get back on nights at the hospital which leaves me with the parental duties) and would prefer not to drive in/around NYC (anyone who's driven anywhere near NYC can vouch for how ridiculous it is, not to mention costly - though being in a company truck I wouldn't be responsible for the cost aspects) they basically told me they weren't looking for local delivery drivers. Alrighty then, so I skipped out on the ride-a-long "company tour" they offered.

Ah man, that sucks. Good luck. Nothing solid on the job front for me. Pay scale around here sucks and I’m deciding if I’m staying here or moving somewhere else. I might sell of my collectibles at this point. Had I known then what I know now I would have done it before we moved.

Because even if things were good it wouldn’t matter because I don’t have a designated area to display my stuff. Anyway, it might help me come up with the funds to pay off my bills and maybe move. The problem is, I don’t know where I’d want to live. I went out and about to a bigger city and realized how I wasn’t a fan of the area outside of our small town.

Did one Lyft ride this morning before starting my final week at this current job.

Tonight I have a contractor coming over to go over multiple projects and costs on my home.

And I should find out today if my petition signatures are certified, thus allowing my name on the ballot for city council.

About to fall asleep at my desk. Went to see John Mayer last night (GREAT show) but didn't get back until 12:15 after dropping my niece off at her house. I fiddled farted around our house for a bit and before I knew it, I didn't crawl into bed until like 1:15.

Typical Monday crawling by ...I've got a splitting headache and just my luck an hour ago my wrist started bothering me again, from a past sports injury. I just want this day -actually week- to be over, it's gonna be a long one since I have mandated overtime this weekend. So f***ing fed up with the company I currently work for.

Sitting here chilling. Had a lengthy conversation with The Mrs, and a little bit with The Boy earlier today. Although the latter was making a compelling argument on why I should go. I’m trying to cut him some slack because he’s a 10 year old boy.

Anyway, going to try and turn things around. Hopefully we’re not spinning our wheels for nothing. Going to go into the next big town to do some follow ups on jobs I’ve applied for and check on another place that keeps advertising on Indeed to see why that is.
