Yeah, something I am not looking forward to is operating a forklift if I get the job sk33tr. Too many things can happen there and I like the pallet jacks more. The pay is actually fair and again, I like being close to home. That being said, I’m going to keep filling out applications and interviewing until I hear back.

Sitting here nursing what I think is a hangover with my country daily discovery Spotify and a hot cup of coffee. I honestly feel like heading back to bed, but I’ve already took a shower and gotten dressed. Part of me feels like asking The Mrs if she’d like to take me to a neighboring town for lunch.

But I drank some whiskey and kept doing “Just one more!” with it and the last season of The Office until the wee hours. So not sure if I’m up to it truth be told. Hell, even my MiL got up and made herself a drink lol.

Yeah, I’m still trudging through the forum at this point. So I’m just sitting here chilling and listening to tunes. I’ll go and check on her the next time I hit the bathroom. I think one thing women forget is sometimes we men like to be chased too. Lord knows I’m tired of doing it, but with us having issues I think intimacy is the last thing on our minds.

Getting ready to take my friend and his 5-year old to his son's very first NFL football game in 1.5 hours (NYJ @ ATL)! The kid LOVES NFL football, no specific team, he loves it all. Great kid.

Finally off work, another 13 hour shift (yay me! /s). Drinking a couple beers and just chilling, debating on if I'm going to fix something to eat tonight or just drink til I pass out (I don't really like cooking just for me).

I love being on my lift more than anything but every now and then I switch over the pallet jacks just so my body doesn't tense up from standing in one place for 10+ hours at a time. I've held certification on both styles of fork lifts (sit down and standing). Its basically just like riding a bike, once you learn how to operate one you never forget, although if I go a long time without my lift I do have to remind myelf to turn left to go right and vice versa (thats the way our RRs work anyway)

Just out of curiosity is the job at a store or warehouse? Ive worked in retail stores for many years, since I started working in a warehouse I swore to myself I'd never return to a store level position ever again.

I’ll be working at this Tractor Supply Co store location Mike. I got the call I start on Monday at a dollar less than we agreed upon. I’m trying not to let that eat at me too much. The job is 5 minutes from the house. I’ll just have to get use to being back on store level and managing others again. The Mrs seems very happy lol.

Surfing a bit. It's effing hot right now. I heard Gilroy got up to 106 today and I'm sure SJ was close.
Oh yeah, I helped out at Straw Hat today and we catered one building of the Netflix HQ in Los Gatos. It was all office space so nothing too exciting. I asked if Kevin Spacey would be doing a meet and greet and they just kind of looked at me funny. Their meals are subsidized I guess so they eat for free. Besides the different food shops that come in, they have stuff provided by NF that they get for free as well.

A friend tells me they’ll have an Express Pass within the next 6-12 months and that it’ll be down to an hour wait.

Thanks man, he had himself a BIG TIME! At first, I think he was a little intimidated by all the sights and sounds of The Benz, there's a lot going on, it's total overload. But once he nestled in, he enjoyed himself.

And the Falcons kept their preseason winless streak alive!
