No complaints on that front Don, but sometimes I still feel over worked and unappreciated. Last night I was also irritated because she got my curiosity up sat night but never delivered so I was sitting on pins and needles wondering if it was good or bad news.

In other news another shitty work week has begun, the week before a holiday I shouldn't expect any less. Got a side gig 4hrs away from home(2 from my f/t job) tonight, I'm hoping it's hassle free(fuel pump replacement on a Cavalier) but it's been sitting for the last 2yrs so I don't think I'll be that lucky. On the plus side I'm Thinking about taking Thursday off to take the kid to the county fair but I'm not sure I want to burn up my sick time@work for that..

Good luck on the school front. It is never easy. We homeschool and I need to talk to The Mrs about starting him back up. I also want him on a daily schedule and dressed this year.

About to lie down for a bit before I head into work. I’m closing with the assistant manager tonight. Hopefully it goes smoother than opening did. Haven’t even started my day and I’m already tired.

I have tomorrow off and The Mrs ask if I’d help give the house the once over. How about you get The Boy lazy ass involved in that instead of the person who’s next day off won’t be until Sunday.

Gladys has her ESL class tonight from 8pm to 10pm but we might hang out afterward. This will be our third time but since it will be lateish, we'll probably just hang out. She's never heard of miniature golf so I'm eager to take her one day.

I lost count of the bourbon mixers and about to go to bed. It’s been a day and pretty sure some bimbo stole a bunch of shit and returned it while we were short handed and preoccupied with other guests tonight. I guess I’ll find out in a couple of days when I go back to work. Night all.

Ohhh civiclx believe me I'd give anything to give her a little brother but unfortunately the wife and I have discussed it and she's not interested in motherhood and quite frankly I work way too much to take on any more added responsibilities right now.

All I had was water last night and I still woke up feeling terrible this morning.

Still drowsy now, I left my thermos of coffee on our kitchen counter so I hope the Mrs enjoys my fresh French pressed coffee as I drink this nasty vending machine crap. Really sucks because after this 12hr shift I've got to replace the fuel pump on a client's truck, so probably the longest work day in a few weeks and on one cup of coffee - dunno if I'm gonna survive!

Sitting here listening to a Spotify country Daily Mix waiting for breakfast. Boss called and asked if I’d switch days off and come in. So I’m going to eat and lie down before I head in at 1:30. The talk the assistant manager had with him must have sunk in. Because I’m going to be doing some computer training before I get on a register. If there is a bright side, I’m looking forward to working with the other lead supervisor and I’m closer to my next day off

Done with class and running for the day. Doing some more studying/schoolwork before my shift tonight. Could NOT be happier that that super annoying manager at my place of employment is transferring forever to another restaurant after today. She's actually been going around asking people if they're happy she's leaving because they don't like her. I truly do believe she actually enjoys angering her employees, which is just one of a multitude of reasons she's unfit to be a supervisor of any kind.

I reserved a copy of Killers Anonymous this morning and I'm not sure how it's gonna go.

Gary Oldman is my favorite actor EVER and I love Jessica Alba but honestly watching her act along side Gary is going to be like watching Nick Jonas try to play guitar with Steve Vai.


EDIT: Man was I wrong. She held her own. When I'm wrong, I say I'm wrong and I was wrong about Jessica Alba's acting chops.

She’s only been here 10 months so hasn’t seen it yet which makes me happy. I told her not to google it so it will be a surprise. I’ll plan to take her during the day the first time so she can see the whole course and all the obstacles. Of course it might make discreetly sneaking a kiss by the windmill a little harder

Just got home from work x2. As I suspected I had a couple rusted/stripped bolts to drill out to remove the truck bed on my client's truck to gain access to the fuel pump (so much easier than dropping the tank which naturally was at least 3/4 full lol). All in all, it only took about 2 hours start to finish. Now relaxing watching some you-tube videos and finishing this beer before I turn in for the night.
