Got my target stands in and cardboard targets. Will clean the firearms this Tuesday and probably go out and shoot sometimes later this week. Also got my John Wick 3 steelbook in so will give that a watch to get ready lol.

About an hour before I need to get cleaned up for work. So I wrapped up the forum and going to play a little Ryse before work. I’m really hoping it is a drama free day and I can get my work done. That, or do more training on the computer. I almost feel like asking if I can access that last one at home at this point. Because that’s the one thing we never have time for.

i'm a poor, so i had to make my own target stand from some scrap wood i had laying around, lol.

i also keep a whole bunch of big, cardboard boxes from work. i use the nra official target pattern to make my cardboard targets. i got the measurements online, drew it out on a piece of 1/8" plywood, and cut out a pattern. then i use that pattern to cut a bunch out from cardboard.

i also ordered a box (100) of targets from actiontarget.com. they have a BUNCH of different types of targets and their prices are pretty good.

Don't worry I'm a poor too lol. I only got these because they were $20 which is pretty cheap for metal ones. I'll probably get some cardboard from my local Dollar General as well. Steel is way way to much for me. I can't see myself spending $100+ for those. I mean I wouldn't mind just don't have the money.

I read about the song after I listened to it on YouTube. I think what prompted me to do so was watching the Geico motorcycle insurance commercial. It was the one where the guy is in the boardroom.

haven't seen the commercial

but then i don't watch much tv. i watched a 30-minute program last night...and that was the first thing i'd watched since Saturday, a week ago.

and i'm tellin' ya, as soon as i get a smart tv, i'm ditching satellite and cutting my costs more than in half. tired of a $132 satellite bill every month.

Sitting here having a drink. Had a pretty long today and just trying to relax before I head off to bed. Have a long few days ahead and hoping the regional manager visit goes well. I have a few things to wrap up when I come in tomorrow. On the bright side I close.

i don't watch TV much either. I just catch some here and there. I haven't had normal TV service of any kind since 2005.

Coffee and the forum. I’m about to play a little Xbox before I get cleaned up for work. Let’s hope the regional manager walkthrough went well. Have a great day peeps.

having another cluster**** of a day at work.

yesterday was bad enough...today is shaping up to be a bit worse. all because too many people call in without regard to how it affects everyone else. and when more than 1 person does it, it really throws a kink in the situation for all those who are responsible enough to show up for work.

so right now, i'm sitting in my former department as I take calls from people in my current department about what they should do/where they should go. i'm only supposed to work in this department until 4:30....but the new dept. supervisor called in yesterday and today, so now i'm stuck over here for the night, i'm afraid. which means my current dept. won't have anyone in charge if I can't get over there periodically to check in. and if they need something, and i can't get away at that time, then they're stuck waiting on either me or a member of management to do or get something for them.

SO glad i'm off tomorrow and the next day.

Just got home, surprised I didn't get pulled over for speeding tonight, roads were for the most part clear so I floored it - did about 90-95mph to get home in about 40min (usually on a traffic-free commute it takes me 1.5-2 hours). Having a drink and watching some TV while the kid is napping.

if i could drive that fast the whole way home, i'd get there in about 15, lol. BUT...i drive on 2 fairly curvy roads and even a good sports car couldn't take those curves at that speed.

I definitely know how you feel sk33tr. I’m hoping these new people we hired work out. I too am tired of unreliable and those who don’t come to work to work. I don’t ask anyone to do what I won’t do. So get your ass to work. I feel bad every time you bring up your commute and that it takes me 5 minutes to get home most of the time Mike.

Worse case scenario, 10 minutes. While I don’t miss my old job, I did love driving through some backroads on the way home. Now I kind of just go to work and home. Right now I’m winding down with some water. I might go to bed once I scroll through the forum.

About half my commute is interstate, the other half is back country roads.

@The Donster - there are days where I absolutely hate my long commute but it's not so bad for the most part, the mornings despite having to wake up earlier is probably my favorite I can throw on a pod cast and cruise control, sip my morning coffee and it's pretty bearable.

O/t: on my break I just got off my "good morning" call with my daughter, chugging down coffee like crazy since I barely got 2hrs of sleep last night thanks to a big tstorm that passed thru our area and my daughter's fear of them. Seriously 11yrs old and she still gets scared of thunderclaps! Oh well...

Got myself a Starbucks mocha Frappuccino, the bottled kind you can get at the store, am enjoying a small container of Driscoll’s raspberries. Be heading to court pretty soon.

Recently finished Euphoria. Almost quit after the first episode as it felt like a cliched teen drama but it got a lot better. There are lots of great performances from the cast, some really interesting characters and it gets pretty dark at times.
