Oh I'm not worried about work, but unfortunately the bill collectors won't wait lol And even tho we live frugally beneath our means I just can't afford to miss a day.

My son and his wife will be in town later today. My coworker is in now. My daughter lives here and we’re all gonna meet at a pub that my sister works at.
My concern is that the Canucks are likely gonna be good this year, so my Team may get beat. If it happens, I’ll be happy for my son, who is a Canucks Fan.

Just got home from a 13.5 hour work day. Kid and Wife are already in bed (surprising enough since its only 7:30pm) so guess I'll grab a bite to eat, take some NyQuil and try to get some sleep myself. 'Night all.

Like rageATL I'm not much of a fan of going to the doctors (something my wife hates about me seeing how she works in that field). That said after suffering all freaking day yesterday I bit the bullet and stopped at one of those 24hr urgent care clinics just to make sure it wasnt anything serious like my wife suspected. About 4hrs later they told me it was nothing but a common cold and prescribed me a $150 bottle of glorified Nyquil which I declined, pretty much what I figured it was so thats $200 wasted. Luckily my insurance will cover about 3/4 of it.

I got a throat culture taken today and it was negative for strep. They're saying it's most likely viral. Not much they can do other than a 3-day steroidal pill.

Laying in bed and having

and waffles compliments of my 11yr old. I think it's going to be a lazy day today, the Wife called out of work and the kid's still quarantined with whooping cough, we're planning on having a Ghostbusters marathon. The Wife has never seen the original and the kid hasn't seen Paul Feig's all-female cast version. I kinda feel like I should shield her from that one.
