Finishing unpacking from our little camping trip up north, fixing dinner (stuffed pork chops), watching Child's Play with the family, helping the daughter make an apple pie, and shopping online for some hiking gear. Nothing like a little multi-tasking on this rainy Sunday evening

Drinking my first Reign energy drink (Carnival Candy) and I'm in love. I was never very big on energy drinks. I'd have MAYBE two per year. I've tried them all throughout my life, but this I can see myself getting into. Very hydrating and zero sugar. I feel like I have natural energy right now and not just the jitters. Also waiting for the new episode of The Walking Dead to start.

Carnival candy is my favorite flavor of Reign. I'd say Reign is what got me into drinking energy drinks more frequently. The blue raspberry flavor is good too. I know exactly what you mean about the natural energy. Occasionally I'll have a Monster at work but I find myself crashing and getting all jittery after an hour or two. Reign and Bang keep me alert and feeling pretty good.

Sitting here drinking a bottle of water and scrolling through the forum until I get sleepy. MiL gave us a scare earlier right after dinner. She was really out of it and it makes me wonder if she took too much of her meds despite The Mrs setting an alarm for her. She seems fine now. Speaking of which, the alarm company called and I went down to make sure everything was secure. Outside of a few fencing and a liner being knocked over everything looked okay.

Left a note for the boss to make sure it was as he left it. I tell you one thing, that was the worse close I’ve ever seen. Bathrooms and the floors were filthy. Also found the store close paperwork on the service desk instead of with the closing receipts. I left those observation out of my note. Hopefully tomorrow goes well. As I’m closing with the ASM tomorrow night. Which is going to really interfere with my projects and closing duties. Hopefully I’m wrong and I can sleep in tomorrow morning. Night all.

Sitting in my car and talking to my wife about my father, apparently he started having chest pains last night and was admitted to the local VA hospital. Luckily she works there so she can keep me updated on his condition. I feel like a POS now, I missed over 6 calls from him over the weekend because I took my daughter backpacking in the mountains w/o cell reception. And of course by the time we got back to civilization I thought it was too late to call him back - I should have called him regardless.

The last time I had a Monster, it almost made me sick so I'm done with that stuff. I kept hearing about Reign and Bang and finally tried one of them and I'm in love. Carnival candy was fantastic and I have a Sour Apple in the fridge. My local Meijer also has the Melon and Lemon flavors. No Bang though so next time I'm at Kroger I'll get a random flavor of that and try it. I'm really looking forward to trying all the other flavors of Reign.
