I just got back from trading 8 PS3 & X360 games to GameStop, which I received almost $20 in store credit. I haven’t done any trades in many, many years. I plan on saving my credit for a rainy day.

It is nice to purge one’s collection.

I’m wall mounting my new tv.
I don’t like how un-sturdy it seems on it’s stand. I’ll have GrandBrats here and am not taking chances.
Also, my center channel doesn’t fit below the screen, nor in the stand that I just bought. I’ll mount it high enough to clear that speaker and aim the tv down a bit, if required.

Doing what I do every December... realizing that theres a handful of garbage Christmas movies I like that I don't own. Then, naturally, looking online to buy them and they are overpriced for my taste since they are borderline movies to begin with.

Maybe I'll grab one or two, but ultimately I'll be here next year when I forget and let time pass me by.

sitting at work with my tooth hurting a bit.

went to the dentist this morning for a crown. about half-way to work the novocaine started to wear off. i was about in tears by the time i got to work. i got some pretty good stuff from a co-worker. it helped...a LOT. but ever so often, now, it starts to hurt a little bit. it's not as bad as before, but still annoying.

Most of us here have calibrated monitors so the first few episodes of Game of Thrones: Season 8 probably didn't effect us too badly but if you don't...just so you know...they fixed them. They aren't as dark on the blu-ray copy.

It kinda sucks that when you get to my age, sleeping in doesn't happen a lot.
But the good thing about waking early is that there's no massive line at the Tim's drive-thru.

release date: holiday season of 2020 (some reports say nov. 20th...guess we'll have to wait and see)

gt 7 will be released with it (basically just a rumor at this point; another "wait and see" but i'll be happy if it is)

backwards compatibility with ps1, ps2, ps3, and ps4 games (if true, that makes me really happy)

price: $499 (again, i'm happy if it's true)

Watching Bleach on Blu-ray and enjoying the day off from work. I picked up my comics for the week and plan to do nothing but relax until I go back to work on Friday.
