Sitting here eating (another) dinner at what will probably become my regular place near my place. I wasn’t sure when the kitchen closed down. So I came straight from work. Today was a bit rough at work. Had freight and then close the store. Had a customer trying to make a love connection for her girlfriend. I had to politely tell the person I wasn’t there yet. I want to make sure there is ink with the judge’s signature on it before I even think about any type of relationship. Getting laid? That’s a different story. Still, I’m single but not ready to mingle. My job is my focus for the moment.

Listening to a podcast by an AT thru-hiker before I have to clock into work. Think 2022 will be the year I take off to hike the 2000+mile trail, wife should be settled into her career by then and the kid will be in high school and assumingly more independent than she is now.

i was also out in my shop sharpening some of my knives with one of my christmas presents (a knife sharpener....duh

Just fixed my wife breakfast (spinach egg-white omelet, turkey bacon and plain whole wheat toast) in bed for her birthday. Now onto entertaining our house guests for awhile, before we all head out to celebrate her birthday with dinner at our favorite steakhouse

I’m watching the Russians slay our Canadian boys in The World Junior Championships.

Soon, I’ve gotta go get some steaks. My daughter and her family are coming over for supper.

I like our chances, but the seeding is so important, which makes this game so huge!!

My parents and brother surprised us by joining us to celebrate my wife's birthday tonight. Great food, Good service, and Wonderful company - such a good day. Now we're winding down, watching The Christmas Project (2016) on Netflix.
