Taking a quick break from organizing my Blu-ray collection in chronological order. Aiming to be done in about three hours.

the aching has stopped (for now) since i took some medication (acetaminophen) when i got up a little after 7:00, this morning. i'm gonna go into work and hope it doesn't do like it did yesterday. the whole damn day, yesterday, it hurt like a mother ****er. NOTHING i did worked. but i'm hoping today is different.

i'm just looking forward to tuesday and having the damn thing removed.

Working. Been up since a little after midnight as I waa elected to drive my brother-in-law to the airport. I didnt mind so much, of all my wife's siblings he's the one I actually like. He's actually doing something with his life unlike her older brother and sister who are lazy bums.

I've narrowed down my list of watches I'm considering to 107. I've selected styles I like from Bulova, Citizen, Seiko and Tissot. My problem is finding the one that I absolutely like the most and I don't need to do all that. I just need to find a nice watch that I like, that has good value and be done. I'm learning a little bit about watches as I do this which is fun. I've even joined a watch collecting forum called watchuseek.com.

I'd like to order the watch today as Macy's is having a sale. Hopefully I can get it ordered soon and then head out to watch the games

i'd rather have a migraine than a toothache. a toothache is the one thing that i can't deal with. i have a pretty high tolerance for pain. but a toothache? that's the one thing that will put me down.

If it was previously worked on, it could be infected. I had a mildly infected one that cleared up with antibiotic and mouthwash. Yours sounds like it could be majorly infected (possibly, just guessing.)

I'm not a dentist but I play one on tv.

Those are excellent brands and I’d be happy with any of them.
I’d be slightly partial to the Tissot.

I'm still at it. I'm getting very close though.

Macy's has several watches on sale right now. It's part of their Deal Of The Day special but numerous watches are eligible. Tissot watches don't seem to be eligible though so I'll get a different brand this time since they're on sale and then make a plan for the Tissot. There are several that I want from each brand. I'm quickly checking out some Citizens before I place my order.

Do you wear a watch? Do watches even work up there in those temperatures you're out in?

Yes I wear a watch. My work and street watches are both Timex.
I should get around to getting a nice watch, I haven’t had one for quite a few years.
I’ve bought Tissot for women and really like them. That’s the reason I’d go with that.

Bedtime now for me.

I set up my Nintendo Wii console for the first time in like 10-plus years.
I was really wanting to play Dead Space: Extraction. I just completed the first level.

yes, it was worked in preparation for a crown. but as he went further down, the dentist said it would need a root canal. i don't mind root canals (had one previously that never caused me one second of pain); but i couldn't find a place to do one on any of my off days. so, after that awful night, i decided to just have it extracted. that's getting done on tuesday at 10:30, i'm off then and wednesday, too, so hopefully i'll be good to go on thursday. i don't have to be t work until 12:30, so i'll have 48 hours to be well enough to work. if not, i've still got some sick time i can use.

ot: it's slow as hell at work and the night is just crawling by.....

Getting ready for a day of overtime since the wife is off today and the auto shop (my primary job) is closed through next week.

8am, checking out new posts while I wait for the bus to go to the food cupboard. I find it fascinating the range of incomes that collect movies. Some people have their own home theaters & fantastic sound set-ups. Then there's me (although I do have a 42" & old school big box stereo speakers). Then I'm sure there are people who have even less than I do. The love of movies connects us all.

Finally getting to put my Blu-Rays on shelves after moving. I opened a couple of boxes up 5 days ago to get some titles out and, being an idiot, forgot to tape them back up so there's a lot of condensation. Luckily there doesn't seem to be any damage (I've got one playing in the other room to make sure), just means I need to wipe down each disc as I take it out. Only the 2 boxes thankfully.

It's almost Friday.

By the end of the day I'll probably need more coffee beans, and certainly by tomorrow afternoon. Trying to talk myself into going to the grocery store. It's cold though, and this little heater feels amazing on my feet. The heater is winning the argument, also my bed is comfortable. As I type this post it's becoming clear that I'm trying to talk myself out of going to the grocery store.

All I have is a 32" Toshiba TV and an Xbox One X. Used to have a dedicated Blu-ray player, but I recently just gave it to my girlfriend as I'm going to be upgrading to a region free player soon. Also looking to get a bigger TV this year. I was in college for quite a while, moving back and forth so a bigger TV than a 32" would have been a pain in the ass to move. Now that I'm pretty much settled, a bigger TV is finally in the cards.
