Getting ready for work and checking my email, looks like the owner of the shop will be auditing us this week. Really hope he doesn't find anything wrong as im trying to convince him to let me run the new shop he's opening in the spring. In other news I may actually get to meet my current manager, he'a never at work and frankly I'm sick of doing his job for him.

Got the day off for Martin Luther King Jr Day, I was going to work a shift of over time at my weekend job but we're currently in our slow period (apparently no one buys frozen food from January to April??) and any off shift help has been asked to leave early, so I wasn't going to take the chance of driving an hour there and an hour back only to work a 3-4 hour shift.

I just talked myself out of spending about a grand on two watches at Macy's. There was one for $730 (on stainless steel band) and one for $200.60 (15% sale) (on leather band) I wanted so I went ahead and just ordered the cheaper one for now to take advantage of the sale. I have caught the watch collecting bug so we'll see how stupid I end up getting

It is pretty cool that after buying my first watch from Macy's for about $360 after tax, I earned $50 in Star Reward money that I put toward the second watch. You'd have to spend $1,000 at Target, using the RedCard, to save $50.

I started working on turning my living room around last night and will finish it today. Once the tv is up, I can figure out how the rest will go.
