It's currently 2C (36F) here. I'm finishing cleaning out my beer fridge. I'm gonna wait until after rush hour before I go and do anything. |

Oddly enough I've been trying to get this covid-19. Thing is if I did get it, for the sake of everyone else it best kill me because I won't be going into quarantine. I'm also not fear-shopping, hoarding up on crap that I wouldn't otherwise buy. Get a grip people, its not the first epidemic to spread around the world!
O/T: Getting started on my St Paddy's Day celebrating and Drinking some brews while I binge-watch Containment on Netflix with the kid. |

THE FORCE.
Never seen that before. Obviously I hit a nerve with you. Thanks for taking the time out of your life to make that avatar when I would assume you had more important things to do. Having said that, I think your new avatar was the most classic 'get back,' I've ever seen on this forum. 10 points out of 10 to you. I was completely owned. The best get back I have ever seen and I'm not ashamed to put my hand up and admit it. Last edited by Flash3000; 03-17-2020 at 08:23 AM. |

Been a bit tied up these past couple of weeks with doing some diy to the house and settling in my new lodgers; a pair of bunnies called Charlie and Archie haha.
Got some time to myself today so making a start on going through the Halo's for the first time in donkeys years. Been randomly in the mood for some reason haha. Currently whetting my appetite with Reach. Probably won't play past 3; don't really have much of an interest in returning to the 343 titles tbh ![]() |

watching a video of a guy clean and restore the deck on his riding mower. and i can't understand how people can let their stuff get like that. i clean my mower (top and bottom) each time after i use it. also, i don't cut my grass when it's wet, which is something a lot of people do that causes their deck to rust when they don't clean it afterward. it's a few minutes of work after you cut the grass to prevent a headache, later. this guy had to remove the deck from his riding mower, clean off any loosened rust, treat it, prime it, then repaint it.
they do make a deck coating that will help protect the underside of the mower deck and make it easier to clean. and it also helps in keeping it from rusting. but you still have to clean it after you mow. some guys will bring their mower into work for us to fix, and there's so much grass and junk caked up on both the top of and underneath the deck it's a wonder the blades will even turn. and usually, we'll clean that off, change the air filter, change the fuel filter, change the spark plug, change the oil, and it fires right up. then we charge them over $100 (parts + labor) for that. and we even tell them what we did and how they can do it themselves and how much they can save (usually costs less than $20 to do that stuff yourself). but invariably, they'll be back later in the year with the same problem and we charge them the same amount to do the dame work we did 4-5 month earlier. and the same holds true for trimmers, blowers, etc. i just don't understand how people can own something that isn't exactly cheap; but then not take care of it. and then they spend almost as much as the tool cost to keep it running by paying someone else to fix their idiocy. changing the air filter, the fuel filter, the spark plug, and the oil is something that usually takes less than 15 minutes. and is cheap insurance to keep the machine working. |

Coffee and watching more of Containment with the kiddo. Thinking about going in for overtime tomorrow, although it may all depend on how much I drink tonight. Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

OT is a done deal.
I called and got the superintendent and he was all over it. The supervisor that I usually work OT for may be disappointed. It sounds like I’ll be opposite of his crew. I’m glad to get a chance to make some extra moola before stuff happens and the mine has to shut down for a bit. |

yo, civ? Are chips and cookies prevalent at the stores in nocal? In socal, chips cookies and especially ice cream seem to be fully stocked for Armageddon. The basics, not so much.
