just found out my car was broken into, surprisingly they found nothing and took nothing, since I don't keep valuables in the car, they oddly did not take the CD's just sitting in the backseat, they must not have liked my taste in music.

CDs aren't really worth anything to resell. Its possible they were in the middle of ransacking it and got spooked by someone walking by or something. Are you sure you didn't have any hand sanitizer or TP in your car? I hear that stuff is worth gold on the black market. Seriously, sorry this happened to you.

OT: Sitting here listening to the kid rage at Call of Duty and soaking up some sun. Thinking about taking a walk over to Walgreens for a couple essentials and possibly to the grocery store for something for dinner but I dunno yet, we have plenty of food in the house but like an idiot I didn't defrost anything from the freezer.

I read a quote (from an email) in a coronavirus article on MSN and that led me to google "5:45 at Mann Gulch". Turns out that the Mann Gulch was a wildfire that broke out in August of 1949 in Montana at the Gates of the Mountains which was a canyon named by Lewis and Clark during their expedition.

I've shared this with Biz who undoubtedly saw my long text and muted my chat window...whatever

...It turns out the fire was first spotted by a college student working as a forest ranger. This is all according to wiki...apparently he fought the fire for four hours by himself before other smokejumpers met up to help him. I mean if you burn something on your stove and you put it out, you're fighting a fire by yourself...but this dude, this college student, fought a ****ing forest fire for four hours by himself...

Coffee and binge-watching Criminal Minds with the girls. Also looking at some maps as I want to find a new spot to hike in and camp this year, would be nice to have access to a stocked lake for food but at this point I'm just itching to get out there so my only requirement is a decent water source.

There are two hour long videos. Going to finish the first one and then watch the second one so I can respond to this class discussion for sociology. Not sure how much more actual school work I will do today after this, 2+ hours is a decent amount for any day but I know I have a lot of work to do before mid-May so I better do at least a bit more after these videos and discussion responses. Just changed my mind on watching video 2 during the workout because I want to be able to take notes for my professor and classmates while I am watching it. Will stream the pilot of the Vampire Diaries on Netflix instead or the premiere of season 2 of Legacies.

I just finished watching the 2 videos, the workout and the almost 1 hour nap both slowed down that effort a bit. Used another student's response and the textbook to finish up my main response to the chapter 9 discussion. Going to stream for a few minutes then eat dinner and take both quizzes that are due tonight for that class. That's quite a bit of schoolwork for one day so I will just relax after that, aside from looking at what I probably need to do tomorrow for Multicultural Education, Field Research and the project(s) for field experience.

I was somewhat joking about my CD's but seriously no, having hand sanitizer or TP in my car would be the last place I'd put it (I can't find TP to save my life) - the weirdest aspect of this incident was when I originally had walked out I thought I had received a bunch of traffic tickets. Only til I got close did I notice that they were the maps from inside the car were put under the wiper, and then the obvious reaction: 'oh shit'
