watching car detailing videos...
and i'm thinking i want to order a new hose, wand, and quick connect kit for my pressure washer. the hose/wand that came with it is a proprietary, 1-piece design. and the "tip" is really a piece that's about the same length as the wand handle. it connects by inserting, then twisting, it to lock it in. but, it leaks (even though i've replaced the o-rings in it). plus, the adjustment is a twist style that really doesn't work all that well. so a wand with different tips would give me what i want; but that would also mean i'd need a new hose...with which i'm ok. plus, i like my quick disconnect kit i have for my garden hoses, so i'm looking at those, too. i'd really like a whole new pressure washer...but i want one that's gas-powered that goes up to at LEAST 3000 psi. i like my electric one for washing the vehicles and spraying off the siding...but for actual cleaning of the driveway/patio, a gas-powered, high psi pressure washer is the way to go. |

Loud/annoying niece is here so I'm using headphones to listen to YouTube while I brush my teeth and watch the latest season of Flash on Netflix. Got myself some upside down cupcakes (whut, who bakes upside down cupcakes) yesterday to celebrate making the dean's list for the first time ever. I intentionally got them yesterday so my moron niece wouldn't get any.

![]() How old is she? My nieces, aged 18 and 21, love movies as much as I do. I love when they call and ask if I'd like to join them in watching the newest horror movies. Love having them with me, so I can't relate to what must be driving you crazy about yours. ![]() Also, congrats on making the dean's list. |

Just finished dinner.
Currently, looking at 3 (homemade) cloth, face masks that my mom bought for me from a friend. I’m not sure why because it is a waste of money, since I already own four N95 masks. Sigh.......... The weather is so damn muggy. ![]() Last edited by VictoryAtNight; 05-21-2020 at 04:55 AM. |

![]() ![]() i'm off today, but i don't know what i'm gonna do. i know i'll run the 2 ethernet cables i got in a couple days ago. all of my cables/wires are run in-wall. i upgraded my internet a few days ago, but the cables they put in are too short to reach where i want the router to go; so i ordered some longer ones. but that shouldn't take more than a few minutes to do. |

been out in the back yard...
pulled some weeds from around a few flowers, then went over the are with the trimmer, then picked up the debris with the lawnmower. then i went ahead and trimmed and cut the grass in the back yard. i also took some measurements and got a few costs for supplies for the pergola i'm gonna build.....sometime. i also want to redo the arbor. i was just gonna move the one i have, but i'd rather rebuild it to match the pergola. apparently i'm really good at creating more work for myself. but it's cool, i like doing that kind of stuff. plus, a good friend stopped by and we talked for a bit. now, i'm resting and cooling off...drinking a dr pepper and eating some reese's cups. |
