Watching the latest season of Black Lightning on Netflix before I go to bed early so I can get up and run 16 miles tomorrow.

Took a little trip out to Los Gatos on Friday. I'm not positive but I believe THE_FORCE was having a car delivered. Might be the orange one or perhaps one of the others..

and gonna start packing up the rest of kid's stuff. Got a call late last night (of all times) from her mother saying she got permission from housing management (or whoever deals with the legalities of base housing for single soldiers) to allow her kid to live with her. Sad that she needed permission but guess that's the way the military operates for single soldier base housing. She's only got a month left on base so I don't see why she's rushing to get the kid moved in only to have to move out next month anyway. Oh well, I had some sick time accrued that I needed to use up anyway so now I get a five day holiday weekend instead of a typical four day.

Truck is fully loaded with my daughter's things, her room here is 100% empty. Time for a ice cold beer, think I have a couple PBRs in the fridge that will hit the spot nicely. Now to decide what I'm going to do with her room, turn it into a HT/hobby room of some sort or perhaps leave it empty/turn it into a guest room in case she ever wants to come back for an extended visit.

my oldest nice, her husband, and my 2 nephews just left. her birthday is tomorrow, but i have to work. so i asked them if they could come over, today, for some lunch. we had burgers, chips, and pasta salad.
